Yesterday did not start out as my favorite. It took me forever to wake up and shake off a rather unpleasant attitude. Then we went outside.
And this is what we did.
We walked by the pier and went to lunch. We went down to the ocean. We found starfishes and rocks shaped like hearts. And time didn't matter, it really stood still, and when we came home Ivy fell asleep next to me and I held her in my arms like a baby, her hair smelled like spring, and backyard.

It looks magical. The stuff childhoods (and adulthoods) are made of.
ReplyDeleteI was just going to say the same thing- you live in a magical place! I love it. And I love that song, my mom sang it to me all the time when I was little.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! There is nothing like bein out in nature to get me out of a bad mood! Curious, are these iPhone pics or your big camera? I'm so glad you moved and are soaking up the adventure and beauty, makes me a bit jealous!
