I was just telling Marshall last week that I want to be great at something-like really, really great. I just don't know what that something is! I kinda hope that I'll look back and say, "younger Bridget, why didn't you see it? It was there all the time!"
It is like you thought my thoughts with this post. I also dream of having a consuming passion for something the way a dancer or artist or scientist often does for their craft.
I'm studying France and Paris right now. There's a lot to learn, and I'll never have all the answers about it, but it's soothing my need to feel like I know something about something. And it's fun, too. I'm cooking from French cookbooks and watching DVDs about France. This weekend? French movies!
You just reminded me of a post I want to start. Thank you.
