Here ---> There

love bug

I could write about the time I was still potty-training my three year old while on the phone with a dumpster rental and trying to figure out how I'm going to get this house clean and packed and ready to sell and sold before school starts. But even I don't want to read about that.

We are moving to Canton, Ohio. It's six hours east of where we live now. I do have a story to go with it, even pictures!, but also, see above.  I'll get there. We are so excited, it was so sudden and unexpected and I'm totally along for the ride.

  2. You will love it! (I'm assuming, although I've never bee, I'm sure it's lovely).

    Also, I'm restless. I secretly wish something like this would happen to me.

    Also, I do believe that iPhone dog in your sidebar is my Miles. Strange seeing him here. :)

  4. So exciting about the move. I lived in Cleveland for years and Ohio is beautiful. You're really close to Amish country, too, which is a good day trip.

    And the potty training 3 yo thing is a drag. Elliott is 3 and has no interest except for the occasional peeing from the front step onto the sidewalk thing. Eewww. Ah, someday. I must stop wishing for someday.

  8. Hooray! You'll be an hour north of me. I'm there once a month to raid Target, as it's the closest one to me. Coffee dates?

  13. Wow! I've been there. My husband's whole family is from Ohio and we both went to Ohio State University. Moving is really hard. Potty-training is harder. We're in the middle of it with Nate. My god. The pee.

  22. When we randomly decided to move to where I grew up and our house sold right away and we were like GASP my brother-in-law asked me if I was scared. I said I was of course, but that we just needed to do this. To try. To say YES to challenge and change. To follow the heart-gut even when not knowing why. He said, Yeah, I think that's what living is supposed to be. And I agree.

    I'm happy for you. But please stop inching across the map toward the east...there's too big a space from here to there :)
