We weren't going to go to the fair, but we never miss and it was the last day and the weather finally cooled off. And I had to have my bucket of Dr. Vegetables and Gray ate an entire elephant ear all to himself and Carter entertained on stage.

The goldfish bowl toss was only $2 for 15 tries and so we came home with five fish and as of this morning... "Mom, do you think this one is just still sleeping?" then there were four three.

Always reader, rarely commenter just had to say good luck on your move! And isn't Kenny just the BEST! When I saw him a few years ago on your blog I just laughed and then about two weeks later I told him that I saw him on there in person. My husband is Uncle Mike of Pint Size Polkas and they played the WI state fair together that year. My guy doesn't travel quite as far as Kenny (who goes overseas!) but we are so excited that in just 3 little weeks we'll have Daddy home again from his summer spent in 11 states doing 150 library and fair gigs.
ReplyDeleteKenny is such an amazing performer and human being too. Probably the nicest guy my husband has met out in the children's performer's world. So glad you got to see him again!
So glad we went...and saw our traditional Kenny show. It was the best night..
