What it's like.

summatime

So basically telling Ivy that she is not to touch my super expensive new shampoo and conditioner has made those blue bottles of magic the only thing she can think about. Like the spindle to Aurora, it calls to her. As does the nail polish, lipstick, and all of my shoes.

I have a girl.

She has me.

  1. Heidi now has to put on her own make-up while I'm doing mine. Hopefully she won't realize too soon that the pressed powder compact she so delicately jams a little brush into is empty.

  2. Oh yes. I understand you completely. The nail polish in this house is akin to gold in my 2 year old's eyes....even more so ifI put it on her toes!

  4. Ha! My girls are the same way. My Redken is off limits, and somehow one of them always ends up using MY razor even though they all have their own. Girls!

  5. If I ever had a girl I'm not sure I'd know what to do with her! ;) #lifewithboys

  6. I love having a girl! I'm so surprised at how innately girly she is at such a young age, 21 months. She loves her baby dolls, and acts out everything I do with her. She changes their diapers, feeds them, tries to dress them, etc.

    Yeah, having a girl ROCKS!

  7. My daughter got my brand new MK eyeliner the other day, broke it and threw it away because she knew she wasn't suppose to have it. I went thru the garbage. Still can't find it. Life with a little girl. oh my.
