Remind me

Carter, little league

I must write this down so that I don't question my sanity as we get further into summer.

I enjoy Carter's Little League games. Not just to watch him play (that is my favorite part, and it's still like brand new to me every time) but also because we are all piling in the car together as a family twice a week, and hanging out on the field as a (often whiny, cold, hungry for concessions 100% of the time) family, and it also probably helps that his team is really good and undefeated.

  1. I love baseball season for just the same reasons!

  2. The photo is wonderful. Looks so "official and professional" leaning on the bat.
Sounds like a nice Mom's Day for you and your family.
    Thanks for sharing.

  3. We are just ending our baseball season here in a few weeks but I identify with everything here! The schedule has been a bit grueling, but my daughter loves playing so much and her team has only lost 1 game! And my little girls have eaten WAY to much sugar as well. Glad I'm not the only one :)

  4. Some of my favorite childhood memories are all the family games we went to for one of us or another and the concession stand. I hope this for your kids too.

  5. Exactly. Even though I am often cranky and hate getting us all ready, I am always so glad when we are all in the car together going to watch them play. Well, honestly, tired of tee ball, but watching my 8 yo play is fun b/c it is closer to real baseball. ;) And I do admit to sometimes springing for a babysitter so I can really, really watch. But yes, I get what you are saying.

Your comment is gonna totally make my day!
