Honestly, I have such a hard time with each phase that passes... as my children get older, the less they need me to do for them. That's why I can't give up letting my four year old sleep next to me every night. I know one day, he'll be big enough and not want that anymore. I just want a pause button... sometimes. Is that too much to ask for?
What a sweet photo! My Simeon just started blowing his own bubbles too. He thinks its pretty awesome. I do too...with a tug in my heart at the same time. Those little things are the things that give me baby-fever when they happen! :)
My baby blew out two candles on her birthday cake this year and now she is blowing (haphazard) bubbles. Isn't it funny how something so small makes you feel so much? It's HOORAY! and high fives, while you turn away to wipe the tears.
They just won't stop growing... but yay Ivy!
ReplyDeleteI love where this was taken! She is growing up with fun memories of her Great Grandparents house. Glad the ramp is getting good use!
ReplyDeleteRight there with you! My son blew his first "own" bubbles last week and yeah, it was kind of bittersweet :)
ReplyDeleteKate blew her first bubbles yesterday!! I think she surprised even herself. You should have seen her face. :)
ReplyDeleteNow you can just enjoy your nice glass of whatever while you watch her to it... ;)
Oh man. Avi is getting to that point too....I think she'll have it down by the end of the summer. Sadness!
ReplyDeleteIt's totally time to celebrate! Because that's one milestone I don't mind crossing.
ReplyDeleteExcept for the bubble dumping that will definitely follow!
Oh honey, she is growing up far too fast!

ReplyDeleteOh sweet, big girl!
ReplyDeleteWhat a big moment, and a stunning photo of it!
Love!

ReplyDeleteSha my girlfriend! I miss her!

Wow, that IS a big milestone! Next up: learning to "pump" on the swings so you don't have to stand there pushing...
