The Onya Baby Cruiser
To kick off International Babywearing Week I've got an exciting new baby carrier I've been eager to mention and also, yeah, give away!
While I might not be babywearing like I used to, I still keep all of my carriers - most of them have been loaned to friends and new moms who want to try out the different styles. I was really intrigued by the creative design behind the new Onya Baby carrier. It's a well-made, soft structured carrier that also transforms into a seat for your little one.
It's full of all sorts of MacGyver-type features including toy loops, a sleeping hood, and two zippered pockets. Recommended for ages 3 months and up, to a max of 45 lbs, Onya Baby sent me the Outback carrier [$149] to keep. I'm excited to include it in my babywearing demo and lending stash.
The Outback
You can currently get your hands on an Onya Baby online via email, so if you're interested, do send them a note until they get their online shop set up for sales. You might also find Onya Baby in a store near you.

ReplyDeleteI loved wearing my son when he was small, but I hated the carriers I had. I even had an Infantino bag sling. Oops. We just found out we're expecting baby number two in June, so I would love to get a new carrier that would work well. These look very high quality!

ReplyDeleteOh, it's hard to choose! I like the idea of the soft cotton for comfy at home days, but also the breath-ability of the mesh on the Outback for hot, sticky days. Maybe one of each?

ReplyDeleteI'd love the Outback in Olive/chocolate for my husband. He wants to babywear but isn't up for a mei tai, sling or wrap (my favorites). he also is hot-natured and sweats A LOT so the air mesh lining would be perfect for him!
