I came across this photo I took of Gray in Chicago fall of 2009. It pretty much sums up our day. I'm really in love with my family more than ever, and the trees today were the most beautiful colors, especially when the sun shimmered down just right. And tomorrow we are going out for sushi! Happy dance!
What are you happy about right now in this moment?

Tomorrow I'm doing a photo shoot for some college friends and their 4 kids, her sister and BIL and their 3 kids and the grandparents. The oldest child is 7. It's going to be chaos, but it's going to be fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable photo. You really captured the joy of the moment. I felt like dancing in the sun today under the changing leaves, but didn't. So sad.
ReplyDeleteI am happy that I have a forgotten and doable haircut appt today! YAY! A new haircut even if it is just a trim does WONDERS. As you know, my dear.
ReplyDeleteOh Gray you darling... I was having such a grumpy day - and you cheered it up!!! Thank you little love!!! Hope you all have a fun weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteGray always makes me smile and that picture in particular is a sweet one.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to be home, baby's breath, little sisters that can't get enough of their brother, pumpkin carving, toasted pumpkin seeds, family movie night and the upcoming weekend.
Happy weekend to you and your family Steph!
Yay! What a cute happy dance!
ReplyDeleteSo cute ... I am so happy for my family, friends and this crazy journey of life! At this very moment my new wood cook stove makes me very happy and toasty warm on this chilly morning!
ReplyDeleteyay! i'm so glad you are where you are. life is sweet, isn't it? i'm excited for my birthday weekend!
ReplyDeleteCute little boy!
ReplyDeleteOkay, honestly, at this moment I am still in major sports depression because my beloved Texas Rangers totally blew the World Series. I know it is just a game and all that, but I am still sad.
Happy moment: I think I'm about to take a nap!
Right now, I'm happy to have yarn on my hook and a sleeping baby on my lap. Hopefully I'll have a finished hat before Monday.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that you're happy! Happy Halloween, too, btw!
ReplyDeleteI am happy for warm blankets and hot tea, helping me try to defeat this cold before I take my littles back to the ice rink today. Sometimes I wish I had decided to interest them in warm winter activities, but just like me, they love the ice.
ReplyDeletei'm having a hard time finding the happy today. ugh. such a lame way to start the day. i think i'm going to take my daughter to michaels for some craft supplies, stop for a pumpkin spice latte and make something. snap me out of my self-indulgent funk.
ReplyDeleteguess i kind of needed to read this post right now.
