I love the way you wear your baby: in a pouch

I love the way you wear your baby, pouch

The hot air balloon launch we attended on Friday night ended up being cancelled due to bad weather (see that sky?) but as we were hurrying to gather up our chairs and blankets, I passed this sweet mom wearing her 2 month old baby Helen in a pouch.

We have a Popcorn Festival in our city and watched the parade yesterday morning. I saw several moms and dads babywearing as they walked in the parade- wraps and Ergos seem to be popular around here- but I was too busy keeping Ivy out of the street and enjoying the festivities to snap any pics in time!

See past I love the way your wear your baby photos .

  1. I miss those days of small babywearing!

  2. Oh how I love seeing others wearing their little ones. It's like I feel an instant connection.

A snap of me and my newest in the Ergo:

  3. How cute and comfy that pouch looks! I love my Ergo but, I want to start wearing my girl in the Moby again. She's 10 months and a little over 20 pounds, do you have any good recommendations on how I would wrap her to me?

  4. What a great idea for a photo series! Cute pouch.

I recently added a babywearing reflection post of me and my little one, 5months in.

  5. Angela, you might want to consider a woven wrap if she's that heavy. It won't sag like the stretchy wrap and will provide a lot more support! Or try back wearing in the wrap!

  6. I love baby wearing so much. My favorite is the Babyhawk Mei Tai and use mine ALL THE TIME. However when my sweet little girl gets sick she loves to be snuggled in the Sleepy Wrap. Here is a link to a picture of my little girl, Adeline (13 months old), in the Sleepy Wrap:

  7. that pic plunges me neck-deep in nostalgia over those days when i had smallish folk to wear. i'm tempted to ask my sil if i can borrow her baby for a bit. :)

  8. Thanks for taking the photo! It's nice to know so many other people wear their babies! Nice to meet you Stef, we did the popcorn festival and balloon festival as well on Saturday.

Your comment is gonna totally make my day!
