And then he was like, can you send it to Lego.com and youtube, too? And I was like, I need to get you a computer, kid.
My dad got Carter the Lego Farnsworth House for his birthday.
I thought these Angry Birds were pretty creative. He's such an awesome kid.
(This also inspired me to round up a bunch of cool Lego photos off the Internet for a photo slideshow at Strollerderby: 15 Awesome and Imaginative Lego Creations.)
Are your kids Lego maniacs? Should we start them their own blog or flickr group to share with each other? I'm tempted!

Did he come up with the lego Angry Birds on his own?!?! Those are awesome and I love them! We are big lego fans AND Angry Birds fans, so perfect combo!

Jame,
ReplyDeleteHe did!! LOL
Tell him that was brilliant and he totally got cool points for that. :)

Owen would totally get in on a lego picture sharing site. They could give each other ideas of what to try next. :) Before we ever bought him Star Wars legos, he'd build his own AT-AT Walker and all sorts of ships. Love their imaginations.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the angry birds. I'll have to show that to the boys... Eli would love it.
have you taken him to the real Farnsworth house? It's open for tours.
ReplyDeleteAmanda, it's on our list of places to go!

I have one huge lego fan at my house, there needs to be a sharing place!
ReplyDeleteand a local lego meet up/play time!
Love his Angry Bird creations! My 4 yo is LEGO-crazed, but for him it's all about "the guys" and their "gear". Can't wait till he's into the architecture line.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Legos!!! I used to play with them all the time when I was a kid. I can not wait until my kids are old enough to play with them! Right now Liam would just try to eat them! lol
ReplyDeleteHaha! Very cool Lego creations. LOVE the Angry Birds.
ReplyDeleteYou're kiddos aren't the only ones. Mine ask for me to post any clever things that say on Facebook. Oh what a generation. ;)
love the angry birds, so smart!
ReplyDeleteWe recently cleaned up my 11 year olds room... he was able to part with almost all toys except the Legos ( :
ReplyDeleteVery creative!!!!
YES my 10 year old is a Lego freak AND uploads videos to his YouTube page. Teehee. (His username is legomangenius if your son would like to watch.)
ReplyDeleteSeth LOVED this!!!! I think he is going to try to do the Angry Birds also.
ReplyDeleteWe totally should do a flickr group. I would be much better at updating that than I am Seth's Lego blog ;)
How old is Carter? 8?
All my kids play with lego but I have one, my oldest, that is actually obsessed with it... has lived, breathed and slept lego for the last twelve years... maybe more (gasp)... And there is always a lego creation in my weekly round-up post because there are always a heap of lego creations on my camera when I download photographs - no idea how they get there!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you all have a super fun weekend!!!
Another Lego fan here! My 9 year old impresses me quite frequently with what he creates and he would love a sharing site like that :) In fact his 8th birthday/family trip was a trip to Lego Land in Chicago--they weren't impressed with Chicago (too cold in March for us southern folk!) but loved Lego Land.
ReplyDeleteLego's rock!
Very creative! Love it. I can just imagine a Lego blog by Carter. :)
ReplyDeleteThere's a Legoland opening in October near Orlando, not far from me. My four-year-old is itching to go.
Those Angry Birds rock my socks.
ReplyDeleteMy four-year old is TOTALLY impressed with those Lego Angry Birds. Now he wants big brother to help him make them when he gets home from school... ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the flickr group would be tres fun!!
I used to spend hours and hours creating with my Legos when I was a little girl. They are still a favorite. Jayden is team Lego/Mega Bloks and trains. He loves watching train set and lego videos on Youtube. A Flickr group is in order ;). Love those angry birds.
ReplyDeleteTotally awesome kid. Great birds!
