Truth be told, I don't use an online calendar. Well, nothing further than the little one in my phone and then I have to remember to actually check it. We have to write everything down here and pretty much all the days of the next three months have something written on them. Oy. The Blue Sky Home Series offers beautiful visual calendars fashioned by contemporary designer Susy Jack* Contemporary Paper. So, I also admit: as anxious as "planning" and "scheduling" makes me, I love writing and filling things in on a pretty calendar, with a fine-tip colored Sharpie, of course.
task calendar [$8.99]
Blue Sky isn't just calendars- they include a range of handy organizing extras that can be mixed and matched for portable planning, note taking, list making, communicating and storing paperwork, all $3.99 to $9.99. We have put to good use the Don't Forget Door Notes [$9.99]. Kids (and moms) can be of the forgetful type sometimes.
Smart, huh? I also like that they can easily be grabbed on the go- because I am really good at making a grocery list but then taking it with me? Um. This way, it's on the door knob and I can be reminded and then snatch it on my way out!
Find the Blue Sky Home Series at Target stores and on the Blue Sky website now through September.
Win! I'll choose one comment at random here to win a Blue Sky Home Series prize package including the Task Calendar, Multi-Task Mouse Pad, Door Notes, and Family Calendar. Leave a comment here letting me know how you currently keep track of your family's schedule.

I use a paper calendar on the wall and my phone calendar. The one on the wall is for everyone to see and keep track of and the one on the phone is to remind me. For our spring sports craziness (4 kids on 4 teams) we had each kid assigned a color so it was easy to see who was playing on any given day.
ReplyDeleteI actually have a Blue Sky calendar in my purse. I love that they are small enough to carry around.
ReplyDeleteI follow you on Google Reader. = )

ReplyDeleteI've printed a free calendar from the internet and have it on the fridge. My grocery lists are always on scraps of paper and are always lost. I also have a notebook for my lists. Tons of lists for whatever I'm trying to remember. I'm kind of all over the place.
ReplyDeleteI also liked Blue Sky on Facebook, and would love to win!

ReplyDeleteI use a paper calendar, but it often gets so full I can barely read what's in each box! My grocery list is written on scraps of paper or on backs of envelopes, which, I'm with you, I constantly forget to take to the store! This giveaway looks like it would really help me out! Thanks for the offer!! saraandeddie@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteHey there! We use a paper calendar that is ugly but has huge squares on it. Would LOVE prettiness to track life upon.

Oh, I so need this. I just have random notes everywhere and most of my calendar is in my head...which doesn't work as well as it used to. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity.

I keep it all in my phone. But like you mentioned, I have to check it. Our oldest is starting school in the fall and soccer, so we need a new way. This would be great!

ReplyDeleteWe keep track of everything the old-fashioned way with a boring calendar with scribbles all over it! I have a cork in my office (a.k.a. the laundry room) where I stick party invitations or coupons, but the calendar is sort of our go-to.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, I subscribe to you.
ReplyDeleteI "liked" them on facebook.
ReplyDeleteI keep track of our schedule using a paper calendar.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about this giveaway. If I don't win, I may just have to buy my own!
I already subscribe to you in Google Reader:-).
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a calendar that might actually work for my family.
ReplyDeleteI need help with this! We have calendars in various spots around the house and on my work computer and in my head. For things I need my husband to know I've started sending him outlook notices to go on his work calendar. But I could use some pretty organization.
ReplyDeleteI don't know keep track of us! I never know whats going on, at least there are only 3 of us!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have synced Google calendars that we use mostly when we're on the go. We also have a giant whiteboard calendar in our kitchen that I do every month so we can see at a glance what's going on without having to pull out an electronic device.
ReplyDeleteWe have a paper calendar that is for the family and my husband keeps his schedule on-line. Then he has to write it on the family calendar so I know where he'll be on any given day or week.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so neat!

ReplyDeleteCurrently we have a white board on the fridge with color-coded markers for all 5 of our family members, and I put all of the stuff in my iphone so it's with me if I'm out and need to know what's going on or coming up. As far as school goes...I've already been planning for my classroom the past 2 weeks! I want to be AHEAD of the game this year :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I subscribe!
ReplyDeleteI use Google calendar...but it is also nice to have on paper for record keeping

ReplyDeleteHonestly, I use Google calendar so that it shows up on my iPhone as well as when I go to gmail. But, I only have 2 in "activities" (they're 6 & 4) so I'm going to eventually need something like this you mention.
ReplyDelete(If I won this, I'd give it to my mom.)
I follow you on Google reader AND connect. (so you show up twice in my Google reader, actually... still can't figure out how to fix that, but now I get (at least!) 2 doses of you per day!) :)
ReplyDeleteI get a new calendar for Christmas each year. I spend a day filling it in with important dates like birthdays, anniversarys, family time etc. It stays in my bag with me always.
ReplyDeleteI use a wall calendar in my bedroom and an appt. book in my purse to keep track of things.

I don't keep track of much right now. We have google calendar and a dry erase calendar in the kitchen (but it's too small). It's frustrating to me because I used to be a visual consultant making visual schedules for families with kiddos with autism. I neeeeed a schedule!

ReplyDeleteI buy the same agenda annually that I absolutely could not function without. My brain would explode!
ReplyDeleteI use a mix of google calendar (so me and the husband can be in different places and be on the same page) and a hand written agenda book. There's something rewarding about writing!
ReplyDeleteThe calendar up there looks amazing! I love the "to do" and "to call"

I currently use a big ugly wall calendar hanging at the entry to the laundry room - it works for us but it is not attractive at all! :)

ReplyDeleteI liked Blue Sky on facebook, but I don't do Twitter :)
ReplyDeleteI currently use a wall calendar that is an ongoing Christmas gift from my uncle. He lives in Tucson and sends everyone in my family Arizona calendars every, single year. It was nice back in the day when he would tape a $20 bill on our birthdays, but now I just end up with an scenic Arizona calendar that kinda looks weird in my kitchen and is not really "me!"
ReplyDeleteI still prefer writing everything on the wall calendar, tho my husband keeps asking me to switch to Google calendar. I just don't like having to write it down in two places, but it will probably happen eventually. Maybe.
ReplyDeleteWe have a boring old white calendar on the wall. I'm horrible at remembering to write things on it! Maybe if it were prettier... ;) Thanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteRight now, my life is kept organized by three calenders. One big one on my desk at work, one big one that hangs on the kitchen door and the one that is in my phone. Thanks for a chance at another great giveaway. One of these times I may actually win.
ReplyDeleteI have a white board (a big one) on my kitchen wall. It is divided into a week, and I put everything everyone is doing plus our meals for the week on there.
ReplyDeleteI also have a wall calendar that is mostly neglected because I always think I will remember everything. HA!
I use my yahoo calendar - it emails me my schedule, so it works for me! it emails me before appts and everything....and since i check emails so many times a day, it works perfect for us!
