I won a mini laptop a couple years ago at a time I really needed one. My PC was on its deathbed and I didn't own any kind of laptop. So I entered to win an HP mini and won and that was awesome. It's what I'm typing on right now! I am so thankful for this prize.
And this past weekend I won two Acer Aspire One
Technically my HP mini is not living up to its full potential with a few issues, but it still works for now. I am really hoping to save up for a full-size laptop. In the meantime, my mom doesn't have a laptop and has to share her computer with my dad who keeps quite busy with his inspiring and funny email FWDs and youtube watching.
I wanted to give her one of the netbooks. And then, I am thinking, I really want to give the other one to someone else that could really use it, just like I was in need a couple years ago.
And this brings me to the giveaway: if you need a brand new, never-opened Aspire One Netbook (the opened one in the photos with Ivy is the one I'm giving to my mom), or know someone that needs one and want to give it to them, or maybe you want to give it to your Mom for Mother's Day or if you just want one for yourself or are going to sell it if you win (how am I to know anyway?) leave one comment* on this post to enter.
Subscribe to my blog, follow me on twitter, and like this post at the bottom down there. None of these things will help your chances of winning, but it's just nice if you're into that sort of thing.
*Entry guidelines: when filling out the comment form please include your email address or blog address so I have a way to contact you. Or leave something in the body of your comment like your twitter handle or what-not.
Open to U.S. winners only since I'm going to be mailing this all by myself.
This giveaway is not sponsored. I won both of the netbooks and want to give one away to a fabulous reader, hopefully someone that can really use it!
Comments on this post will close 4/26 sometime after 11:59 PM (CST). I'll choose one comment at random and contact the winner/announce on Wednesday 4/27.

This is not an entry. I just wanted to say that you are lovely for doing this.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome giveaway! If I win...it will be a mother's day present. :)
ReplyDeleteemail: tinycandi@gmail.com.
And I'm nice...I follow you on your blog and twitter. ;)
Good luck to me! My lap top is about 6 years old! Ancient in computer terms.
ReplyDeleteMine isn't an entry either. I just wanted to say that you are such a generous person. You could sell it yourself as you save up but you choose to bless someone else.
ReplyDeleteMay blessings come back to you and your family one hundred-fold!
I feel a little guilty for doing this, we have plenty, a roof over our heads, food on the table, lots of love to go around so if there is someone else that needs this more than us, obviously, pick them!
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend is moving halfway across the world for me, and it is big and huge and it makes my heart dance and do crazy things. He's sold his house, cashed out his savings, quit his job, and it's enough for him to live comfortably but it's also a big sacrifice from what he knows.
He's looking for a netbook, and this, would be so perfect. He won't let me just buy him one, so if I win this, it's guilt-free, win-win, no payback needed.
:)
another non-entry. I almost entered because my old laptop is basically trash, but I'm sitting here typing on a perfectly wonderful desktop. I hope this can bless someone who really needs it! I'm very inspired by your generosity.
ReplyDeleteHow kind of you! I would love to give my mom this notebook if I won. I'd even gladly pay the shipping. We just welcomed our first baby, Greta, into our family on Feb 17th. I am back at work now and my mom is watching her everyday. I would love for her to have a laptop to take back and forth and use when baby is napping. She would be over the moon with her own notebook. She's the most gracious, selfless, amazing woman I know. Aren't moms the best?! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is beyond a generous giveaway. My husband and I were just talking about replacing our desktop (which I'm typing from now) - its five years old and starting to give us problems. Our verdict was to wait until it officially "dies". So I'm crossing my fingers and would totally be willing to pay for shipping too.
ReplyDeletemichelejudd@gmail.com
I need one sooo bad. Ours is teetering on the edge of doom.
ReplyDeletekazmerritt (at) gmail.com
I, too would love to give this to my mom. She is 75 and just entering the digital world. Thanks a bunch!
ReplyDeleteamyschaaf(at)yahoo.com
Oh Steph I so need this! My desktop computer is dying and since we co-sleep baby girl insists I go to bed with her at 7, making getting anything done impossible and I would love to have something to take to Relevant.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love how easy you made the entry, you are simply the best :-)
What a really beautiful instinct. I hope that it proves contagious in many.

I was so excited for you when I saw that you won, and when I saw it was two I just knew that somehow or other you'd give one of them away. :) But you're giving BOTH of them away! You are too, too generous. My netbook just died unexpectedly, I'm hoping they can still get my files off of it. :(
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to give this to my mom so that she can see pictures of the kids. She doesn't have a computer and I'd love to be able to give this to her for mothers day!!! She would love to be able to keep up with us via internet time.
ReplyDeleteYou are so very sweet. Tommy broke my laptop months ago, so that when I try to plug it in, it SPARKS. I've been making do on my phone, but I miss Pinterest!
ReplyDeleteOur old PC has struggled along - and been taken over by my 6 year old! A netbook would be a wonderful tool to get Mommy's work done!
ReplyDeleteThis is so great, I would love to win this. I have a dell insiron and after having it worked on 5 times and putting more money into it then its worth, its breaking down again. I so can't afford a new one.
ReplyDeleteI would keep this for myself
bwalleshauser at yahoo dot com
Such a precious gift for someone.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Our laptop is TRULY in & out, alive somedays, others not, if I were to win, this would be a gift to my sweet husband, graduating from graduate school in a few short weeks.
heatherdiehr@yahoo.com
Steph, you rock. ;) We could really use this at our house. My very old laptop is on its last legs. I've already replaced the hard drive once, we had to wipe everything again a few months ago, and I just moved everything to backup again last night. I fear it is not long for this world. Winning your overflow would be very lucky indeed! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs to you all.
@chilihead
That is so nice of you. If I won, I'd be donating it to the animal shelter I volunteer at - so they could use it at events for credit card processing or onsite online registration collection.
ReplyDeleterudylover_1999 AT yahoo DOT com
You are one awesome mama! I have never had a laptop. Nope. When I had Piper almost 6 years ago we bought our iMac and it is what I still use today. I am not sure what I would do with all that freedom of being able to walk into a different room and still have a computer :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Steph!

You are very, very kind! I would love to win ... I guess i would not say that it is a necessity because i believe our electronics are a luxury but I would use it for my oldest daughters. I homeschool my 6 children and we all share my old desk top ... my two oldest have been asking for something they could take to the library to work on. So this would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being so kind!
Peace, love and kindness, Amy
amylemmon@yahoo.com
My wife is a budding blogger and would love something small and mobile like that netbook.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

Thank you!! This would be a great gift for my mom too. Yay Moms!

Oh my gosh. I so need one of these! sudzykitty at gmail dot com. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYOu are so sweet. This would be a dream come true for me. I have wanted a laptop forever and just can never find the funds too get it. You know how to get ahold of me.
ReplyDeleteI live in Canada, if I pay for shipping, may I enter?
ReplyDeleteMy 4 year old pushed my laptop off the desk & shattered the screen, I've been using my phone ever since.
@tlmummy
jaimelynne32 @ hotmail.com
This is such an awesome giveaway. My netbook just broke. I don't know why. It won't stay on for more than 15 seconds though. I think my 2 year old daughter has something to do with it because my laptop is pink and she's super fascinated with anything pink right now. It's just really crappy because I have awesomely cute pictures of my daughter on there that I can't get off now. I also have all of my blogging stuff on there. Now I gotta share a computer with my husband again and he gets really picky when he's not signed into all of his stuff automatically anymore.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
tropicaljello1988@yahoo.com
How nice are you? My laptop screen was shattered a couple of years ago in a listening-to-music-whilst-showering-episode. Been forced to sit at a desk ever since :( Thanks so much for the generous giveaway!

Pick me, pick me! Hubs travels all the time and we'd love to have something to keep in touch with.
ReplyDeletewww.radicchis.blogspot.com
Wow! Thank you for being so generous! This is a great give away. I already follow your blog (have for a while) but don't do twitter. :(
ReplyDeleteWinning this would be great! Our home computer is a loaned one from my eldest daughter's school (online school) and she's gradutating in June so it will have to be returned then. Our family will be completely out of the computer zone then and buying another? well won't happen not enough of a priority for a family of 9. I'd love to win so I can continue my blogging and following those I love!
http://fairymomsjournal.blogspot.com/
I would love to have this as my laptop is dead right now as we speak (I am using work computer to type this...shame on me!). I would also pay for shipping. Please contact me at
ReplyDeletemom2tylerwolf@yahoo.com
Thank you so much! God bless you for doing this! You are such a special person.
Kelly
wow, super generous!!! (don't count this as an entry... give it to someone who really needs one!)
ReplyDeletexo
So generous of you to give when you get!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has type 1 diabetes and her insulin pump and glucose meter are only compatible with Windows. I spend so much extra time writing down her daily blood sugar readings so that I can look at trends and try to see areas where her care needs improved.
If I had a netbook, I could literally plug in our medical devices and let them download. I could print out the tables to send to our endocrinologist.
Diabetes is a very time consuming disease and this would be so helpful to cut down on some of the time it takes me to manage her care.
leighann (at) d-mom (dot) com
I would love to win this for my daughter. She is a single mom with two sons (8months & 2yo). Dad is no where to be found :-( She is also helping to raise her sister's little boy (4yo) after she walked off and left him 2 years ago. Heather has made the decision to go back to school. She starts this fall and the last thing on her list of 'stuff I need for school' is a laptop. Lord knows I can't afford to buy one and it's taking every penny we can scrape up to get the other supplies she will need. Winning this would be an awesome gift for her and one she would definitely appreciate.
ReplyDeleteMy dad needs this so bad! He pretty much can never use the computer with my two sisters and their school work & social networking. He's been through a lot in the past year and would so appreciate this!
ReplyDeleteOk, I would love to enter this giveaway for one reason... I just got a new job (after my husband was laid off) and I now work for a photographer! I am incredibly thankful for this new job BUT the one issue we are having is that we have one computer for 6 people! Normally that is great and we are simple people but man oh man, when you are trying to edit photos and have a husband wanting to network and kids fighting over turns.. well, you know! Thanks for being so generous to one of us!
ReplyDeleteHeidi P.
h.polcaster@sbcglobal.net
Oh man, oh man. How I wish I could win this. You have no idea! I follow you on your blog and twitter. I love keeping up with your sweet family!
ReplyDeletelaneconnerley@bellsouth.net
I'd love to win this. I would use this to with the volunteering I do for local Moms groups. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI would give this to my Dad - he's been out of work since October and his laptop is broken.
ReplyDeletethat is so generous of you to do!
ReplyDeletei would actually use it for myself, it sounds selfish but my computer is on the brink of disaster and I am in my final years of school so it is much needed! it would be a mothers day gift for sure!
I follow your blog!
cookingupafamily@gmail.com
Wow! This is so sweet of you! I could definitely use this for myself, because we have one desktop that my hubby and I fight over in the evenings. My laptop died over a year ago and I miss it.
ReplyDeletegirlofgrace139 (at) yahoo (dot) com
Stephanie - why am I not surprised you are doing this? You are absolutely one of the most generous people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this because our laptop is on it's last leg. It has been dropped on the ceramic tile and had smoothie spilled on it and, oh yeah, is 7 years old. This would be super helpful over here.
Love you babe.
You are so generous!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win and give the computer to my mama! I am fortunate to have a shiny, new laptop and my mama's computer is the worst. Its dying a very slow death!
PS I love Ivy with those glasses. Way too cute
My husband could definitely use this. Thank you so much for your generous heart!
ReplyDeleteSeriously these are the cutest pictures! Love Ivy wearing the glasses!
ReplyDeleteI would love it if I won this prize. My computer is super old and was a hand me down from an uncle. It works though and you won't find me complaining, it is better than nothing!
wow Stephanie. something tells me you were one of those kids that gave away half her cookie in her lunch. this is fantastic that you are giving one away.
ReplyDeletei will say that as a mom and graduate student, this would help me tremendously.
thanks for a giveaway!
Awesome! Our desktop is declining rapidly and my husband's laptop is not doing very well either. Not to mention he uses it all the time, so my time on the home computer is very limited.
ReplyDeleteOur family could definitely use one. brooke.ober@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteStephanie, it is so awesome of you to do this. I would love to win. I would use it for work and home. Currently I am working on a new blog because I lost touch with my old one. It has been a very LONG winter in Ohio. Thanks for this chance!
ReplyDeletedelilahmiller@msn.com
We are also friends on FB so you contact me there!
Love it! My mom could use this so badly! She works two jobs, is going to school full time, and doesn't have a laptop, and tries to do work on her ancient computer! She's also hearing impaired and trying to learn sign-language - she's overwhelmed and makes less than 20k/yr! It would be a perfect mother's day gift for her!
ReplyDeleteHere is my email - dibillick@hotmail.com
You are so sweet for gifting a laptop to someone Steph. :)
How wonderful to see such generosity! And what luck you must have! Crazy!
ReplyDeleteAnyway we have a wonderful desktop, but with homeschooling four kids one computer often isn't enough to go around. It would be wonderful to have laptop for the kids to research, read, or type with.
you are lovely.
ReplyDeletei drowned my acer in a cup of coffee last summer, and i promise to be more responsible if i win.
thanks so much.
thedaytontime at gmaildotcom
how sweet of you to give one to your mom and one away.
ReplyDeletethanks for the chance. our hard drive crashed recently & my hubby uses our other computer a ton.
Wow. Just wow. Your generosity is just inspiring.
ReplyDeleteMy husband lost his job almost 2 months ago. We'd been hoping for him to find a "better" job for almost 2 years, he got it, and then, well, the job was no longer there. We had big plans for all that extra income - new doors for the house, windows, and a trip to the zoo this summer. I'd even started a "rainy day" money envelope. But, now, we have gone back to living on one income. Don't get me wrong, we manage (though not very well at times) and are thankful for the roof over our heads, food in the fridge and each other.
This lap top would be wonderful - it would make job hunting for the Hubs much easier (we currently have a dinosaur of a desktop that moves slower than molasses in January) and I'd like to get my baking business off the ground and start selling my goods at local businesses. It would just help. Maybe make things easier.
We are no more deserving than anyone one else - but it would just be nice. And, in the back of my mind, I hope to someday have the same kind of opportunity and be able to pay it forward.
My laptop {and only computer} must go in for repairs *again!* arghhh...I do have a little perspective and know it's not the worst problem to have. But I could use a new netbook to get me through. Many blessings!
ReplyDeletegypsy{dot}amykate{at}gmail{dot}com
Ahhh, what a great give away. I would love to use this as a Mom's Day gift to a mom I know going thru a really rough divorce. Something just for her. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! and already follow you on twitter. :)
suzanne_ranee(at)yahoo(dot)com
How exciting that you were blessed to win two and now you want to bless someone else with one. You're such a sweetheart, Steph. And yes, I'd love to win, so this is my official entry. lol

Ivy is so cute in your glasses!
Wow - what a lovely thing to do.
ReplyDeleteBet you'll have to use a random comment picker to decide - because there are SO many DESERVING commenters :) (not sure that's a word...I guess it is... lol)
Please add our family to the list of "commenters" we have a desk top that is actually so old that it won't hook up to internet. (I'm commenting from work :)
Ya know what...nevermind :) I already follow you :) love love the blog - so if I win this please give it to the next person on the list :)
I am just excited to see who wins.
OH and what a wonderful way to pass on the blessing of winning two! :) YOU ROCK!
Michelle
I just wanted to say how awesome you are for doing a giveaway like this! You have such a big heart and are so sweet to share your extras with others. I don't want to be entered, just wanted to say thanks for being so generous to others in need.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet you are!! My laptop has finally given up its will to live and I'm not really in the position to buy a new one right now (and apparently trying to fix my old one is hopeless). A netbook would be a wonderful solution.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your thoughtfulness!
wisconsinmommyblogger(at)yahoo(dot)com
I've been a silent follower of your blog for some time now & have always enjoyed your posts, but this one is especially amazing! Thank you so very much for the opportunity! If I won I'd give it to the in-laws, they only get to see their grandkids 3-4 times per year & use an old desktop at the library to view pictures & keep in touch online. I'd even foot the internet bill. Thank you again, so generous!
ReplyDeleteNick.lisa @ hotmail.com
Lisachristineleonard@gmail.com
how sweet! My mom was just telling me how her laptop is on its last legs but she doesn't know what to do about it. Serendipity, for sure.
ReplyDeleteYou might be the sweetest blogger in the world! So generous! Here's to hoping I win! :) Have a laptop on the fritz and a hubby who is about to deploy - which means the laptop will stop working (because things like that happen during deployments - blame the deployment gnomes!).
ReplyDeleteSo happy for whoever wins. I feel like anyone who reads this blog on a regular basis must be someone I would like :)
My laptop crashed on me right after we moved. Since then, I've had to 'share' the desktop computer with my husband. It's not that bad, really, but it would be nice to have a laptop in the house! Especially since we don't have cable, and could easily watch tv shows downstairs!!
ReplyDeletePS: Thanks for the tea, and the treat, and the book...and the hug. I needed the last, the first three were just icing on the cake ;)

Honey, I would flip out if you picked my name! I use my old PC which usually "works" but is also usually slower than slow and occupied with a kid or two playing games. Crossing my fingers!
ReplyDeletePlease don't enter me, I just wanted to say that this is so generous of you! And those pictures of Ivy are too adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL I remember when you won that first one at Mom's Night Out!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby would love this...he's still using our PC that we bought 10 years ago. LOL
So awesome! You live the ideal of what you give out comes back to you. I netbook would be perfect for AJ as we start homeschooling in August. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteKate
WOW, Steph. You are so sweet and generous.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby could really use a new laptop. His is on it's last leg. Thank you! :)
I'm purely Canadian but I will comment anyways [and if I do happen to win, I would even pay for shipping, even if it's just to the border ;) ]
ReplyDeleteYou have a HUGE heart darling. Wow.
My HP mini was stolen 2 years ago while at Disney, so I'd love to be back in the mini game. My current laptop is too clunky to travel with and I've considered and lusted after an iPad just so I'd be able to work while traveling. Winning this would be a huge help!
ReplyDeleteYou are an awesome lady! I've been coveting an iPad... mostly because my laptop is getting old and I use it for work and I'm trying to baby it along and if I could let it rest from the personal internet stuff I do I could probably make it last until later this year when I can afford to replace it. So a netbook would certainly work for what I need... If I win I'd gladly pay shipping, if someone else needs it more - let them win.
ReplyDeleteYou are a sweet and generous lady!
Wow. It's amazing that you won them and awesome that you are passing one on! Well...I happen to really need a laptop. I've been using my husbands mini mac for too long It's supposed to be for his recording studio, but he has let me use it for the past year because he knows how much I love to blog. Anyway, we've been looking to buy one, but haven't felt like it was the right decision yet. Maybe I'll win this one! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeletehttp://treeshadowfarm.blogspot.com
this is so nice of you! my only computer, a laptop, is on its last legs and freezes ALL THE TIME. I'm putting myself through grad school and can't afford a new one, so this would be amazing! :)
ReplyDeletespiffyskye(at)gmail
Stephanie, you are such a sweetie! how generous of spirit to share your winnings. I know a teenager in our house that could use this to help with homework!
ReplyDeletejakesmom31@yahoo.com
If I would win this, I would send it to my best friend in Idaho. She is a teacher and struggles to make ends meet each month and I know it would be a wonderful surprise!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that you won two and how awesome of you to want to give them both away!!
ReplyDeleteNot sure yet if I would selfishly keep this for myself or would give it to my mother in law for skyping with the grandbabies. Both of our computers are getting old and run down.
alderson.erin@yahoo.com
Oh how I need one! the laptop I have is a long term loan from my father in law after mine died a very sad death.
ReplyDeletewe've been trying to find a way to get a new one but our wonderful car keeps taking precedence.
Oh how generous of you, I hope I get it! and that picture of Ivy is adorable oh and my email lilacbarries@gmail.com

ReplyDeletei would want so much to give this to someone...and maybe i still would...but i'm also thinking about that homeschooling is in our immediate future and this sure would be helpful with 7 kiddos home!
I would love to win! Don't think I will cuz I hardly ever win things lol, but might as well try :) Would be a gift for my husband since I monopolize our laptop lol.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you're doing this! You are such a blessing to your readers!
ReplyDeleteMy family's computer is 9 years old and can barely handle browsing the internet or word processing. It won't support any updates to programs like java, word, or itunes. It has served us well, but we need to replace it, we just haven't been able to find the money to do it.
Thanks for giving each of us a chance to win!
You are so generous, Steph! Our laptop just died last week. We knew it was coming, but I'm sad nonetheless. And I didn't realize how wonderful I had it, as I sit here in my husband's office on our old {old} desktop with children on my lap, surrounded by a million and one hunting/fishing pictures. I'm just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing Steph! I would love to win!
ReplyDeletemonalua2002 at msn dot com
Ivy makes the best model!
I hope I win!! But whoever does win will be super blessed by this wonderful gift you are giving! I would use it to start my new blog....which I am currently working on....I have three deaf children and want to right about my experiences. Anyways...my current computer is 5 years old, still holding on...but barely! lol I love your blog, and I follow you on twitter (laundrydayblues)
ReplyDeleteIf i win, I will give this to my sister, her hubby is in a masters program... sharing is hard right now. I also started following your blog :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, how generous! I don't have a laptop, and my desktop that has served us so well for so long is starting to dislike us a bit (after several moves, I don't blame her, poor thing). A laptop would certainly help, as I'm a college student and half my classes are online! I hate leaving the room when the babies are playing to go to the desktop. I love the idea of sitting down on the couch with a laptop, doing my homework, and enjoying the babies playing around me. Thanks for this opportunity!
ReplyDelete(and also? What awesome winning luck you've been having with computers! Love it!) :)
This is such a wonderful thing you are doing! While I don't really need it, I can definitely think of a few people I know that could really use this!-Maureen mrmccarthy@tlu.edu
ReplyDeleteIf I won, this would be a wonderful gift to my husband who works so hard and is always out and about - Having a laptop would make his life a little bit easier!
ReplyDeleteI will agree with everyone else, you are amazing to be giving them both away! I, too, am at the point with the antiquated desktop on it's last leg. And been wishing for a laptop or netbook for our homeschooling. This would be a great blessing if we won! I subscribe to your blog and follow on facebook. Love it every day!
ReplyDeleteMy husband opened a business last November - with a used laptop. It is quickly becoming too slow and ancient for the amount of business that he is now getting. It takes too long to load, and he is needing a new one more and more. This would be such a blessing! You are so generous for doing this Steph!
ReplyDeleteI would love a new laptop. Thanks so much. ♥

Ok- for real, it's like you read my mind. My laptop got me through grad-school, but is now on it's last legs. As I went TV-less this year, my laptop is my source of news, entertainment, etc. Not to mention I use it to run my etsy store. Since the economy reeked havoc on my career, buying a new one isn't in the cards for me now or anytime soon. Winning one? That would be amazing. Thanks so much for doing this give away! Even if I don't win, I love that you are doing it!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE a new laptop. What a blessing for the giver and receiver :-)

Wow, how timely! My poor little 6 year old computer is straining to survive. Winning one would be amazing. Thank you for being so generous for doing this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteyou are the bomb. does anyone even say that anymore? no matter, you really are.
ReplyDeletethis would be SO AWESOME for our upcoming trips to ethiopia...we're trying to find a good way to keep in touch with the little people back home and be able to send them pics of their little bro in real time...plus i'd love to be able to journal the trip. crossing all cross-able parts (though i promise to be giddy for whoever wins!). :)
That would be an amazing win. http://www.love-reflected.com
ReplyDeleteI think you are amazing for giving the second away yourself! LOVE the pass-it-on spirit of this giveaway <3
I would LOVE to be the winner!
ReplyDeleteYou are so generous! I love my netbook.
ReplyDeleteIf I won I would donate it to the women's shelter nearby.
Lol!! I have a grandfather who keeps busy doing the very same thing on his laptop. Those forwards, you know, are essential to my day. :)
ReplyDelete{This isn't an entry because we don't need anything, but how sweet of you to offer it to someone who does need one!}
This would be the perfect birthday gift for my husband whose computer is about to die. Awesome giveaway!

I would love to win this for my mom. She doesn't have a computer and since she lives a few hours away I send her pictures via the mail or send them to the drugstore for her to pick up. It would be so nice for her to be able to get them in her home.
ReplyDeleteI actually have a friend in need of a computer [of any kind]. You are awesome!!
ReplyDeletebephotography@ymail.com
My laptop makes a beep of death every time I start it up now. It also has a permanent balloon up on the right hand side telling me how the battery can't hold a charge anymore. I live in fear that the next day I try to start it up will be its last.

you are seriously so sweet! this would be so wonderful as my computer crashed and still has not been able to be fixed =( keeping stealing pete's but that only works when he's home.
ReplyDeletei know it will be a blessing to the person chosen and that is the point. =) you know i love ya and follow ya. hope your easter week is great!
oh geesh steph, the last comment was actually from me. see what happens when i borrow my husband's computer quick. i don't even realize i'm still logged in under his username. ha ha! =)
ReplyDeleteOh goodness Steph! You're so generous! My sis is needing (for financial reasons) to sell her macbook, and we were going to buy it from her, and if I won, I'd totally just give this to her so she wouldn't need to buy a less expensive replacement.
ReplyDeleteYou really are such a generous person- it shows in so many ways. :)
mandiesegura@gmail.com
Oh my goodness this would be the perfect mother's day gift for my mom. She is constantly complaining how he's always on their computer and she never gets to play on it. She even has mentioned to me how she wishes she could get a lap top but my dad is too cheap to buy one :-)
ReplyDeleteemail: Hager_Kristen at hotmail dot com
And of course I have followed your blog for a while; I'd follow on Twitter too but I don't have an account and really have no idea how it works! Heh
It would be a gift to my mom. She really needs one of her own. It's my b-day this weekend, so it'd be nice to give to her as a "birth" day present. :)
ReplyDeletewhat an amazingly thoughtful giveaway.... I am sure there are far more deserving and in-need entries out there, but I'll throw my hat in the ring... I'm a single mom, running my own business, and sadly my computer just died this weekend. I am blessed to have a loaner for now - but will soon need a replacement, that I can't really afford right now!
ReplyDeleteThanks - and many Blessings!
shannon @ joyfuljourneydoula.com
I don't need one myself-- but my mom has been in need/want of a computer for a long time, and as a grad-student I just don't have the money to buy her one. But I would LOVE to give her this one if I were lucky enough to win it! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance! It's so generous of you to share your prizes like this!
I think my email shares when I post w/ my good account, but just in case it does not, I'm akseabird on twitter. :-)
I can not believe you won TWO! What a sweet and generous offer to share with your readers. Good luck to everyone!
ReplyDeletesteph, this is so neat! thank you for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteso funny, your dad busy forwarding emails and watching youtube. so funny. have him check out the calvary men's ballet on youtube. funny.
we have one of those (borrowed) laptops that doesn't work super well, takes 10 min to do a 5 minute task...
would like to have something to store/share pics efficiently. especially for my hair and jewelry products which at the moment do not promote online. too time consuming and hard to work with large files on this. :)
lizzy81800@yahoo.com
Wow--thanks for sharing your good luck! Our laptop just about died this morning (my husband was trying to boot it up this morning and it "got stuck," according to him, so he quickly backed everything up and is just waiting for the inevitable slow and painful death. So yes, a computer would be good! :)
ReplyDeleteSteph, you rock! I would love this for my mom. She's heading back to school and I know she'll be needing it soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity!
ap43126 @ gmail dot com
i'm with backpacking dad. you are pretty sweet, steph. (not an entry, just wanted to say that you're great).
ReplyDeleteIt is awesome that you are doing this! My laptop just died and right now is not a great time for us to be buying a new one!
ReplyDeleteI would love to give this to my brother and sister-in-law if I won!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great way to give back!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice thing to do! And what a blessing that you won TWO laptops! I just returned to the US with a broken laptop after 4 years abroad in Germany- -Thanks for the opportunity to enter! ef.connelly@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'm sure my daughter would love a mini laptop for her birthday. If you are giving one away at random, I'm in. heyjoewhite(at)gmail
ReplyDeleteI can't bring myself to enter but just wanted to say(as many others have!), you are just lovely for giving the extra notebook away. A small, but truly kind thing.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to get my mom a laptop! She takes such good care of her family putting aside wants like a laptop to take care of her four kids. This mother's day will be her first as a grandmother (and my first as a mom!) So I would just LOVE to win this for her :)
ReplyDeleteLove you steph!
i know a stay-at-home mom who is looking to get back into the workforce and could really use a laptop.
ReplyDeletewow! What a generous gift to bless another out of your blessings. I am in desperate need of a new computer! My desktop now about 7 yrs old is unbearable to use! I spend about a third of my part time hours working from home to try and maintain not only a home and 4 small children and a marriage but also a job. Logging in to do that work though never takes less than 10 minutes! I've often told my husband my next computer needs to be a netbook since they are more affordable yet offer same freedom of moving my work station around the house with me not strapped to a desk! Although with my husband on disability affording anything is a stretch. What a blessing this would be! Carma111803@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThis would be amazing to have to take with me to the hospital and have onhand after we deliver our first child! i know I'm going to be taking so many pictures during June!
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog and twitter!
You are so very awesome for giving this away! If I win, I will be giving it to my mother. She can't afford so many things that we all take for granted. She has done without TV and cable for years and I know that this would be something she would find quite useful!
ReplyDeleteMy email address is in my blogger profile. <3
What a nice thing for you to do. I would love the chance to win a notebook. I have a cousin who is starting college in the fall (she wants to be a nurse) and her family doesn't have much money. Her parents make just enough that she hardly gets any federal aid, and with two older brothers also in college, and they're having a hard time trying to figure out how to pay for her school and books and everything. I would love to give it to her and give her a useful tool that will help her not only with her studies, but also to feel like a normal college student--let her forget about money troubles a little bit!
ReplyDeleteEmail is ohogue@gmail.com. Thanks for the opportunity!
This is so awesome! My laptop is about 4 years old and is dying on me. We have so many medical bills from my daughter's chronic health problems and me having to have surgery in December that we really can't afford a new one now. If I win, this would be beautiful timing for us!! Thanks for the giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Wow! Wow!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lovely. Truly. I would freak if I won because our laptop flipped us the peace sign and went to sleep two years ago. katiemayesATgmailDOTcom
ReplyDeleteP.S. I've been reading your blog for three years now and posts like this just prove you are a truly sweet and sincere person. Thank you!
I am not entering... I just wanted to say that I LOVE your heart!
ReplyDeleteMy computer is dying, love this! And your blog too!
ReplyDeleteI would give it to my daughter heading to college in the fall.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I would give this laptop to my sons to share between them. Thanks for being so generous :) Here's hoping you pick me....
ReplyDeletebonggamom@yahoo.com
I'd love to get back into blogging full time, but since I nurse my little one I can't always be at our desk top. My laptop's health problems are not getting better.....it's OLD and it's only a matter of time until I have to say goodbye to it. (Sniffle, whimper.....) I could really use something to cheer me up out of these postpartum blues and shoot me back into the blogosphere!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!

Hi! Thank you the chance to win! I would love to win this netbook! My computer at home is beyond its last leg, to the point that I have to use my computer at work and my phone to do anything online.

so cool. when it rains, it pours sometimes, huh?
ReplyDeleteI am in the process of starting my own business and this would be so useful, especially since "buy a laptop" is not in the "start my own business" budget. Crossing my fingers!
ReplyDeleteThis would be fantastic! Our laptop was spilled on about a year ago so you cant see half the screen and the keys stick like crazy!
ReplyDeleteThis is incredibly gracious! My laptop is on it's last breath as well, and this would be very helpful to have as a replacement!
ReplyDeleteMy computer is dying - even Microsoft is giving up on it ever working enough to install Office again.
ReplyDeletemonique dot burkes at gmail dot com
Thanks so much!
This would be fantastic to win! I am going back to school in the fall and my laptop broke. As in it says it can't find the mother board, it can't find it's own charger. Oy vey. If I could win this that would be AWESOME! I already follow you on twitter, and follow your blog. I can't like you on facebook, because I gave facebook up for lent. I hope I win!
ReplyDeletemichelejoyrn@yahoo.com
I was hired as a kindergarten teacher the year AFTER the whole K staff got Acers. Of course there has been NO money in the budget for such a luxury since! It would really be helpful for me as I am often emailing things from my home PC to the schools computer!
ReplyDeleteHow generous of you!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for my brother! He is graduating from high school in June and goes off to college and he will be in need of a computer. I know this would be perfect for him, and I'd get to be the coolest sista ever ;)

Well, gosh. how could I not enter? we have actually been planning to purchase a new laptop soon...how generous of you to offer yours up!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome of you to do this! I could really, really use this as I'm sure many of the folks on here could. I hope to win, but also just want you to know that you are so cool for doing this! And I've followed you forever :)

ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised at all that you are giving both away. <3 I know someone who could really really use this. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou are so cool!
ReplyDeleteMy old Dell Mini died last month and it would be wonderful to have a netbook to slip into my purse again.

ReplyDeleteSo generous! If I win, I would give it to my hubby. He's been wanting one for awhile, but we have no room in the budget. And since I've started blogging, I've taken over his old laptop!
ReplyDeletelindseygalvez at gmail dot com
This really would make a lovely Mother's Day gift, thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet of you. I could certainly use a small laptop. I'm always working and always on the run. Not an easy combination. lol
ReplyDelete@AMomBlog
How fun! You're awesome :) Extra special bonus, if I win, I can just come pick it up! No shipping costs for you! hehehe... Thanks so much for the opportunity :) michelleahlfeld@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have one of these, in fact, I've been shopping around looking for a good deal on one. But even those are out of my newly-single mom budget. It would be great to have a portable option!
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous way of sharing the wealth!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to win it for my cousin who will be starting college in the Fall. His dad has been out of work for a while and they only have one computer for the whole family. (His family is opposite of yours, he's the oldest and only boy with three little sisters.) Since he's interested in studying computer science, I'd love for him to have his own.
Oh wow, you're awesome. I'd give this to my Aunt, who has been such a support during my dad's hospital stay. Thanks so much for offering up this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteId love to win this and give it to my wife. She homeschools and her laptop is hardly ever working, its all messed up. We were going to look at buying one but maybe I can be lucky enough to win it and she can even take it on the go and do school stuff anywhere
ReplyDeleteHow great is it that you are do this
How amazingly awesome are you! If by some chance I won, I would gift it to my lovely cousin who is about to embark on college in San Francisco. Her family can't afford to buy her a new one, and I was planning on trying to fix an old one I had (were talking its almost 8 years old!) but a new one would be loved. Thanks again!

Seeing as how my laptop died 3 weeks ago, and I've been blogging from my phone, I'd *love* a new laptop!
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing giveaway!!
Lilmissbutterbean@gmail.com
Wow! This would be awesome for my high schooler to keep him off of my laptop until his desktop is fixed!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win it for my son, or a client, or myself. That would be sweet.
ReplyDeleteThis is very awesome of you. My husband's laptop is +5 years old but we can't afford to replace it at the moment. Would be lovely to win one right about now :)
ReplyDelete(@outtajo)
What a sweet thing to do! If I win, I'll give it to my Gramma.
ReplyDeleteMy mom just discovered Skype and I want to get my Gramma set up too. Her husband died several years ago and she's had two bad falls in the past 2 years.
It would help me and my mom's peace of mind if we could *see* her in addition to talking to Gramma on the phone.
I tried to talk Gramma into an iPad but she wasn't having it. :D
I would love this to give to my father (who was my primary caretaker growing up). He is currently using my old iBook.
ReplyDeleteWoops!
ReplyDeleteI am @HystericalMom on Twitter!
My kid dropped my laptop and killed it. I would LOVE to win a new netbook. I have seriously had the worst luck lately! My email is jcws_baby@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteWin or lose... you rock for doing this!
My laptop died (a slow painful death earlier this year) so this would be a great thing for me and the boys (we actually had palnned on using the laptop for school and for DH's side business) but that fell apart when it died...
ReplyDeleteYou are sharing a wonderful blessing..
http://unionvalehome.blogspot.com
My autistic son could really use a notebook. Right now we share my computer. He likes music and looking at family on facebook. He also loves t.v. shows and finds clips on u-tube. If he had his own computer I would show him how to use it to watch t.v. shows.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being so generous.
This would be awesome to have, and would make a good replacement for a certain ancient PC!!
ReplyDeleteMy netbook is on it's last legs. I'd love to have a new one. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully generous person you are! If I win, I'll give it to my hubby, who keeps stealing my laptop!

Wow this is wonderful!!! We are in much need of this. Ours is on it's last leg. And not able to afford another one.
ReplyDeletehttp://myexceptionchildren.blogspot.com/
I would really love to win this. See for the past few years my husband has been out of work and only I work to support our family of three. I don't make much money. And, barely keep our heads above water. Times have been really tough. My boss gave me an old laptop a few years ago and it just recently stopped working. I think the memory was just too full. It also won't access the internet anymore. My son is 10 and just now having to use the internet to complete homework assignments. It would be great for us to be able to finish homework projects, etc. without having to leave the house. My son just recently got a wonderful report card and really deserves something like this to help keeps his grades up. Thank you!
ReplyDeletetylersmom629 at yahoo dot com
How generous of you! I don't know if I could be so... maybe if I did get 2, but I'm sure I'd want to keep at least one of them! I follow you, I have for a while now (not sure how I ended up here tho!). I think its fun that you are local too. :0)
