I'm knitting a top for Ivy with very tiny needles. It's really fun but so slow going. I feel like I spend an hour on just a couple rows. But I'll get there. And I think I like the look of small stitches much better vs. knitting with large needles and yarn. I guess I'll have to grow some patience. A friend shared this video with me and I might be a little obsessed. How amazing.
I made this Zsa "bat" mask for

That you knit all the things that you do is testament to your already having grown plenty o' patience. And that is the cutest little laughing grin ever! Gosh I love little boy faces, don't you?
ReplyDeleteWow that video was crazy AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteWould you look at that so cute mask!!! My dress up champion would think that is better than life - seriously he must have one - you may make me knit yet!!!
ReplyDeleteI think my head just exploded after watching that video. That teeny-tiny ocean scene sweater with the teeny-tiny orcas and teeny-tiny rainbow. It never occurred to me to think about Coraline's wardrobe.
ReplyDelete(Kaboom!)
Adorable mask!
ReplyDeleteI love that mask. One of my goals when I learn to slow down and not be so busy, is to learn how to knit. I will get there someday.... and I will make a mask like this!
ReplyDeleteAnd then I watched the video... simply amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteMy 2 year old daughter Emma is up beside me while I'm on the computer and when I came upon this post she started laughing hysterically saying "Why Hat mommy? why hat? too funny mommy"
ReplyDelete:)
ooohhh, a pink batman, girl, whatever, hat is perfect for ivy, i bet she will keep asking till she gets one. ;) but i can't wait to see the hat you are making with tiny needles. i know nothing about knitting some i am always intrigued and impressed with those that can.
ReplyDeleteAsher walked up to my computer, saw Gray, and gasped, "...BATMAN!"
ReplyDeleteWhat a CUTE mask. And a cute model!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the completed top :)
I thought Batman too! Zap! Bang! Boom! I am impressed!
ReplyDeleteLove the batman mask! Those are some crazy small needles she's using.
ReplyDeleteI lack patience, which means tiny needles would be an act of penance for me ;)
ReplyDeleteAs for the hat, oh my goodness!! I'm in love as is Mr. G here who saw it & wants one with all his heart.
That is too precious! If I were to knit (and I don't) and I had one girl with my 3 boys (and I don't) I sure would think a pic with 3 black batman mask and 1 pink one sure would be cute!
ReplyDeleteLOVE! I think each of my kids need one of these. Heck, I think *I* might need one of these :-D
ReplyDeleteOMG the bat mask is SO CUTE! I wish I could knit!
ReplyDeleteFeel free to check out my blog, I just posted about a quilt I made. Not nearly as cool as the bat mask, though! www.mamabirdwhatstheword.blogspot.com.
Cute! I know I don't have the patience for knitting. I'd rather pay you ;)
ReplyDeleteMust. Make. This. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing with those knitting needles!
ReplyDeleteThat hat's got a kid growing out of the bottom. It might need to be washed.
