YES...2 is so fun...and I agree not terrible. I am going to be sad soon. Jessica will be 3 in April. I just want to bottle her curious nature and love for the simplest things...we should all live a bit like a 2 yr old.
So, sweet!! I LOVE the pics!! Yes, I adore this age too. (Brigham is exactly one month older than Ivy...) Sometimes I could do without the potty training, though! ;)
i found two to be quite amazing. i've never really understood the "terrible" part of the phrase. three has, by far, been the hardest stage. granted, it's the only stage i know since we've yet to hit four, but three has made me apologize to MY parents. ;)
Absolutely adorable! And what a great way to get more use out of baby legs. I am a baby leg addict for my 10.5 month old & I have been wondering what I am going to do with all the pairs we have when she 'out grows' them. Now I know!
i'm lovin' this two, too! :) we were just talking today how we can't wait till naomi is two and audrey is four. it's fun now and oh boy, i know it only gets better!
I can't believe what a big girl Ivy is becoming. She is so adorable. Enjoy two because three is just around the corner and it's a doozy, if I remember correctly.
We're on the tail end of 2 and I will say that the front end was H.A.R.D. Henry's speech has exploded and things have gotten much easier lately and I've really been enjoying it. (not that I didn't enjoy the hard stuff....)
I LOVE two. Honestly, compared to 12-ish months, or that independent stage they hit at 3-ish, it's EASY. And look how adorable your Ivy is! How could you not love that hair and those legwarmers and that sweet, knowing smile?
Oh gosh, she's just so rad. And I can hardly believe that Gretchen will soon be so big like this... we're two weeks ago from entering the TERRIFIC TWOS and I'm in awe... the changes between 2 and 3 are insane and amazing and I'm SO excited!!!
(ps. you are an honourary invitee for Gretchen's party on the 29th... if only cupcakes mailed well...)
She is adorable, I love the different angles you used for these photos, some color and some b&w. You are very creative with the camera. I love 2 as well. Mine is almost 3 and starting to not be as sweet, lol! but I love her all the same!
LOVE LOve LOVE Love LOVE!
ReplyDeleteShe is looking more and more like you! Especially in that first B&W shot. Sweet girl.

ReplyDelete2 is my favorite, too. My parents had 5 girls...they said everytime they had a 2 year old, they knew they wanted another one!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite shot is the second to last. What a little love.
I love two, too! Although I am also enjoying four (almost five). Two is so sweet and funny and five is so self-entertaining and helpful.

ReplyDeleteI love this two year old stage as well. It is so much fun. I can never figure out why so many people dread it. :)

I agree. I don't understand at all how two gets such a bad rap. Two is awesome. Now three on the other hand? SHUDDER. (Love that pretty girl.)
ReplyDeleteShe looks more and more like a little girl. I love her outfit and how you capture her on camera. I think she's really going to appreciate this later.
ReplyDeleteTwo is FUN! I miss two.

I miss having a 2 year old. Can you believe my baby is 4 in a few weeks?! wah!
ReplyDeleteIvy is so beautiful! Just like her mama.
Oh my gosh Steph - when did she grow up? Really?!!?!!??!!! She looks like a full fledged toddler now.

ReplyDeleteI heartily agree, and adore this post!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are amazing. The mermaid scarf is amazing. You and your words? AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteI'm giving you fair warning that what I'm about to say is not what you want to hear. Fair warning.
ReplyDeleteShe's losing the baby face, and becoming a girl. Adorable still, as she rounds that bend.
Love that kiddo! She sorta seems like "ours" :) She is a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteYes. I agree. You said it exactly right. Two is wondrous (and so are your photographs).
