"Noah set fire to French toast sticks in the microwave and I threw them in the yard." (Let me tell you about my day.)
and
quite the confession about being a good mom but a bad wife
and
innocence and breastfeeding
and
the story behind the moustache on a stick.
Also, somewhere in my blog closet I mentioned how I want to attend blog conferences and events when it's right for my family and I thought 2011 would be ripe for all that again but... I am finding that, unless it's close to home, I won't be at any of those things I mentioned. It's still not the right season for me to be away.
And that's okay.
So, I'll link a few more of my faves, then you... go link your favorite posts or photos or both, below! Link away! Bon voyage, 2010!

Oh Steph, so many wonderful things you said. I love them all.
ReplyDeletei agree...i love the things you've shared with us in 2010. you are a wonderful wife, person, mom, friend, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt.....i'm thankful to call you friend.
ReplyDeleteYou had so many lovely posts in 2010. Can't wait to see what 2011 brings us all! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the new look, and you for being you. Wishing you and your beautiful family all the best in 2011.
ReplyDeleteThe post about innocence and breastfeeding is my absolute favorite. It's so sweet. Some friends of mine and their two year old (who is also in my class of toddlers) were over having dinner one night, and Camie (the little girl) asked me why I didn't "have a baby to feed from [my] boobs". I told her I just didn't have a baby yet, then she happily exclaimed "Miley is your baby, you can feed her from your boobs!". Miley happens to be my cat. Haha! It was so funny, and totally innocently sweet. I pray that no one ever ruins breastfeeding for Ivy. Several of the children in my class have talked about how babies eat from momma's milk, and pretend to feed their "babies" just like their mommas. It is so adorable to see.
ReplyDeleteI love love love the new header, Steph.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for having us join in on this. It was like therapy, browsing through the last year and all it held :)
Happy New Year, my friend.
Happy New Year to you & your family!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea. I plan to come back later and check out the other links.
ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd say, I've enjoyed reading your blog over the last few years...how you share so lovingly about your kids...even in the trials.

ReplyDeleteThe posts you mentioned are some of my favorites from you this past year. I especially appreciated the one about blogging and conferences and seasons of life. That helped me sort through some of my thoughts about the very topic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting a linky and inspiring me to think about my year. Growth requires reflection, and I had a good chance to think.
Happy New Year, I'm so glad I know you.
ReplyDeleteXO-Z
You know, I think 2011 WILL be my year to attend conferences and events...because my family will always be with me as we travel the country in our trusty little RV. :)
