I need help deciding.
I am really drawn to this sterling cuff from The Vintage Pearl.

But I am absolutely stumped as to what I should put on it. I was thinking of maybe a French word or short saying. Or a word or two that would inspire me every day when I wear it.
You know me. What should it say?
The Vintage Pearl is gifting me the bracelet and is also offering a $75 gift certificate for me to giveaway.
If you feel an idea for what I could put on my bangle (a short phrase? a powerful word?) , please leave a comment (including a way for me to contact you) and let me know.
Or let me know what you'd get if you win. Or say whatever you feel like saying. Just comment if you'd like to be entered to win the $75 gift certificate. It's easy like that.
This giveaway is open to everyone, worldwide. I'll randomly choose and announce the winner on Wednesday morning.
You can also find The Vintage Pearl blogging, facebooking, newslettering, and twittering around here.
*Winner is Hestermania!

my father was from Canada and he gifted my mom with a piece of jewelry that said Tut mon amour tut ma vie (All My Love, All My Life) he passed away in 2009 and she wears this special piece of jewelry daily :) Of course I'd love to enter, the jewelry is beautiful! Have a wonderful weekend.

I would love to win! Thank you so much for hosting this! aprongirl@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThis was on my Yogi tea bag this morning. "Travel light, live light, spread the light, be the light." Isn't it lovely? If I won the gift certificate, I would order the "our family nest" necklace.
ReplyDelete(Michele P.),
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I love that!! What a lovely story.
Steph
What could possibly inspire you more than the names of your beautiful children? You know where to find me. XOXO
ReplyDelete'Carpe Diem' means Seize the Day - my life's been much better since realising that this is what I need to do...
ReplyDeleteOH what an AWESOME giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI like to keep things simple, so I'll just say:
Faith.
"Be the change you want to see in the world."
ReplyDeleteOr, since that probably won't fit, just "Be the change."
what a hard choice! I have no idea what I would put on mine! Ha!
ReplyDeletebritt
I just ordered my mom a necklace from there for Christmas! Such pretty stuff. Of course hers says "gramma" and all the grandkids name which won't really work for you, eh? ;)
ReplyDeleteMaybe yours can say "love and be loved?"
(I don't know, I'm also bad at those decisions)
Love TVP! So many beauties on there...Two words that have really stuck with me this past summer has been "Worship Always" inspired by Spurgeon's quote: "My friend when grief presses you to the dust, worship there." It's something I've been trying to remind myself of. It's easy to worship in the good times, but He desires we worship Him through the rough spots, too.
ReplyDeleteI'd put "Der Weg ist das Ziel," which is German for "The Journey is the Destination." (my grandma's native language)
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of what's important, and keeps me grounded when I'm feeling impatient.
What an awesome giveaway! I love the cuff too, and I'd probably put my babies names on them with a heart or something or maybe the word "blessed"
ReplyDeleteMy email is poshkristy@yahoo.com
Bonheur qui se passe par choix (happiness happens by choice), I translated it to french. When I think of you, I think "she makes a choice to be happy everyday".
ReplyDeleteFor me, I think I would use it to place a special persons name and her birth date! But, it would represent the same as the one I picked for you.
If I won, I would probably get my boys names. I don't have any "mommy jewelry" and would really love something with their names on it to wear.
ReplyDeleteIf you want a french quote, there are several from The Little Prince that I love:
ReplyDelete"Mais les yeux sont aveugles. Il faut chercher avec la coeur." (But the eyes are blind. One must look with the heart.)
"Les enfants seuls savent ce qu'ils cherchent." (Only children know what they are looking for.)
"C'est veritablement utile puisque c'est joli." (It's truly useful since it is beautiful.)
The e in veritaglement needs an accent, but I don't know how to type that. ;)

I love the All Around My Faith necklace. I am a teacher bombarded with spiritual warfare everyday. This necklace would remind me of Who gives me the strength to get through my day and that I do it all for Him and my family!! Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeletesaraandeddie@gmail.com
short and sweet: Hope
ReplyDeleteor: Jesus (our only hope)
I would love to have a Mommy necklace. I've been drooling over TVP jewelry for quite a while now. :-)
I love love love the vintage pearl, i have been eyeing several pieces lately. As far as what to put on the cuff, I love the idea of a previous commenter, "Happiness happens by choice" words I need to live by more often myself.
ReplyDeleteeverything you do, matters.
ReplyDeleteWow, so I don't know French at all so I'm no help. But I can't wait to see what you come up with!! I think if I won, I would get the key to my heart necklace with my daughter and soon-to-be daughter's names on it.
ReplyDeleteI love the VP's dainty drops and thin leather cuff, but who am I kidding, I love everything they do!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, it is so hard to choose! i think i like the circle of love or our family nest necklaces, but since we aren't done having babies i'd probably get something similar to dainty drops so it could be added to later! thanks for the opportunity
ReplyDeletehir06005@byui.edu
Your blog is a daily inspiration to me... thank you.
ReplyDeleteOn a bracelet for you?
ReplyDelete"Identify"
I think that's all you need because in all the posts I've read from you, that one was the most open I've ever seen. And that one struck a chord, it seems, in many who read it.
On a related note, I would heart a gift certificate because then I could get my mom something pretty to help cheer her up. She needs it. Big time.
I would put "Be still and know." I'm always so busy doing, being, and moving. Taking care of kids, home, husband and more. I would love a reminder to pause and think on the fact that He is God.
ReplyDeleteMy email is moshandjelissa@gmail.com
I would love to enter, I've been eyeing TVP for awhile now...
ReplyDeleteThe phrase that keeps me going every day, I have it on a ring, is
If God brings it to you, He will bring you through it.
I love, "Be Present". What a great reminder every time you look at it to live in the moment!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be entered in the giveaway! I'd probably get the bracelet and keep it simple with the word "faith" or "believe."
ReplyDeleteOne quote that keeps me going is this, by Maya Angelou: "You did then what you knew how to do, And when you knew better, You did better."
ReplyDeleteThe mantra of motherhood, huh?
What a beautiful little shop. The first thing that comes to mind is the saying "always, in all ways" which is a line from a lullaby about a parents love for their baby. pretty much sums up how I feel for my sweet babe.
ReplyDeleteI keep hinting to my hubby that I want something from the Vintage Pearl... but a year later, nothing! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit cheesy and overused, but I think "believe" can be an awfully powerful word.
Your kid's names and "Toujours." (Well, that's what I would get!) Beautiful giveaway!
ReplyDeletearrowssentforth at gmail dot com
I would get Faith, Hope, and Love.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe I would get the quote from Ghandi "Where there is love there is life."
The words "choose hope" have a lot of meaning to me-during the time a friend's daughter was battling a brain tumor. They always chose hope and reminded me to "choose hope" in my own life, regardless of the circumstance.
ReplyDeleteLove the "vintage lovebirds" necklace! It's on my Christmas list :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to win it so I could put my daughter's name on something :)
ReplyDeleteAmanda
scpaintedkiya@yahoo.com
I dont have an amazing saying, but I would order a my name necklace of some sort. I have been wanting one forever.
ReplyDeleteHow 'bout [hope springs eternal]
ReplyDeleteI have always loved TVP items! SO gorgeous! Not sure of a saying, but I'm sure whatever you decide on will be just perfect!
ReplyDeleteterraljones at gmail dot com
I love the Oscar Wilde quote that says, "One sees nothing until one sees it's beauty." That's probably too long for the bracelet, though. Anyway, I love the TVP's work. It's all so beautiful!
ReplyDeletelnbeemer @ gmail . com
I love the vintage pearl and am dying for some of their jewelry. How about, "...and the greatest of these is love."
ReplyDeleteLindsey
lin.ensley@yahoo.com
I'm a fan of the kids names, or what about the birthdates of the kids? Maybe your wedding date and then the kids bdays?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win.
I love that necklace. I'm bad with coming up with phrases. They always sound trite or overused.
ReplyDeleteI say, it has to be something most special to YOU. A word or phrase that makes you smile or think.
Oh man! I would love to win this giveaway! I wish I was creative and had a saying you could use. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd get something for my Mom, since she just lost her Mother to lung cancer Thursday night.
ReplyDeleteI am NO good at picking words for other people, so I can't say that I have any ideas for you.
Nell
janelltaliercio @ g m a i l dot c o m
"Write your worries in sand. Carve your blessings in stone."
ReplyDeleteI love that quote and think it's perfect for a piece of jewelry.. though I admit it's rather lengthy.
Would love to enter... and love just about everything. But the nest necklace really speaks to me. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
I love the something french idea, or a promise that you have been given.
ReplyDeleteIn April I got the word "hope" tattooed on my left wrist. Initially I was going to get it facing me so I can read it, but my tattoo artist explained to me that tattoos are supposed to face "out". And then as another reason it should face out he said to me, "don't be selfish, everyone needs a little hope". I thought that was perfect and it makes my tattoo even more special to me.
ReplyDeleteSo I love the idea of a short phrase or word on it. :)
I love that bracelet. My favorite inspirational/motivational quote is:
ReplyDelete"What would you do if you knew you could not fail?"
I love that this giveaway is international!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a brilliant saying for you or me... I will have to keep thinking about it... just in case!
annedye@gmail.com
"Love is the highest aim."
ReplyDelete:)
Oh my! Well despite reading your blog for years and years I couldn't presume to know you all that well.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to get the bracelet for my mom, it would say "Her children arise and call her blessed" from Prov 31:IAlwaysForgetTheVerse. You could add the "may" at the beginning of that if you'd wish to use it as a reminder to yourself.
If I were ordering it for myself, it would say "Love, and be loved in return" because sometimes I need the reminder that I get out what I put in ;)
helenamanda at gmail dot com
Do you have any momma jewelry? I have a charm bracelet that has just coin charms, all engraved. The biggest, heaviest one has me & hubby's names and our anniversary date. The smaller silver coins each have a kid's name and birthdate. I love wearing it. And I love the VP. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteIf I won,I would want the "You are worth it all" necklace
ReplyDeletehttp://www.thevintagepearl.com/products/largelayers_p32
and I would gift it to my sister in-law who is planning a natural birth for her second baby due in February!!!
mccartney_40@yahoo.com
I would get the Come Fly With me with my sons name on it. It's been on my "to do" list for too long.
ReplyDeletepbinmyhair@gmail.com
"Grace upon grace"
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'd put if I didn't put my kids' names. It's a reminder that in every situation God gives grace upon grace to deal with whatever comes.

ashleyncauble@gmail.com
oh, man. so much cute stuff. i'd say "love well".
ReplyDeletekatybug87@gmail.com
I have been trying to decide what to put on that cuff for a while. I'm leaning toward "Simply Happy"
ReplyDeleteEver since we had our second child, simplified our life/bills/possessions and rededicated ourselves to our spiritual life, we have been SO HAPPY!
I would love to win the gift certificate!
allaboutmyboys(at)gmail(dot)com
Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI don't know any french, but I would suggest "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer - Romans 12:12" Its the theme verse for my life
I think its a bit long for the cuff, but maybe just the reference?
If I won I would probably put my kids names on it, or maybe even Rom. 12:12
i'd love to win! thanks!
ReplyDelete"There is no fear in love."
ReplyDeleteAnd I adore TVP! mrssoup at gmail.
Such beautiful jewelry! I would love to win - thanks.
ReplyDeletesourceofjoy (at) gmail.com
Mine would say, "It's now... only once." And I think that phrase describes your philosophy, too.
ReplyDeleteAnd I would love to be entered in the giveaway! My email address is earthlyodyssey @ gmail . com
ooh! i like either dainty drops or the simple i love you will do. actually i like a lot of them!
ReplyDeletetinycandi@gmail.com
I wold love the cuff bracelet! :)
ReplyDeleteThis saying has always meant so much to me :
ReplyDelete"I love you more than yesterday, but less than tomorrow"
pretty stuff - would love to win! nystraldjo@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteOur family has changed recently, so I'd like something to remind me of what it was and what God has made it. I will grow from this - even in pain.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I would put "Me and you, just us two" because that quote sums up me and my husband perfectly!
ReplyDeletemaybe a favorit verse/line from a poem, book or song?
ReplyDeleteI would get:
"see the path cut by the moon, for you to walk on..."
a line from one fo my favorite pearl jam songs : )
Dieu est bon, it means God is good in French. I've always thought it was lovely. Or La mesure de l'amour est d'aimer sans mesure, which means the measure of love is to love without measure. Or if that is too long, just l'amour sans mesure, love without measure. Just some of my personal faves. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love that for my mother in law...
ReplyDeleteI'd probably put something like "everyday's a treasure..."
I would love something but cannot choose and do not have any suggestions for you.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry (but for some reason my newly pregnant brain is so slow these days)
i love simple but powerful messages- single words such as "inspired", "blessed", "bliss" or short phrases like "loving this life" or "love.life.". my hubby and i played ben harper's "by my side" at our wedding and i had that engraved inside his wedding ring for our 1st anniversary. i would probably choose something like that because it means a lot to me even though others may not get it ♥
ReplyDeletexo,
erika
I like "leap" or "whim"
ReplyDeleteoh the decision is too hard...but I am thinking the bangle! and say traditional with my kiddos names!
ReplyDeletethanks for the inspo

I love the fused heart necklace. The word "faith" sums up my life. Despite all circumstances my faith in the Lord carries me through. Believe me, I've relied on it alot!
ReplyDeleteI have no inspiration for your bracelet. Thought about it, couldn't come up with anything. If I won the bracelet, I'd write, "A person is a person no matter how small" for Cora
ReplyDeleteOh, Steph, you are such a sweetheart for this giveaway. I would put one word on your bracelet: LOVED. Because from our Father above to your awesome kids, to the tons of us who read your blog and laugh and cry with you, you are, most dearly, LOVED! : )
ReplyDeletei was just in their store in Tulsa and the jewelry is beautiful! There are so many things I love for myself and my friends and family. I'm still searching for the perfect Bible verse or phrase to put on a bracelet for me.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!!! Would love to win! :0)
ReplyDeleteit's absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteI would think a one word simple message would suit you well. Something with lots of meaning to you. Believe. Love. Passionate. Cherish. Things like that. Something that when you look at it, it will both make you smile AND inspire you. :)
ReplyDeleteI would get the layered mama's nest necklace. :)
ReplyDeletewe are loved beyond our ability to comprehend
ReplyDeleteOn the back of Jewel's Spirit album.
I would put Joie de vivre. It is French for the joy of living.
ReplyDeleteTina
quebectrip at sbcglobal dot net
"Shine It" - because Steph, you do!
ReplyDeleteI would love a gift card to vintage pearl.
ReplyDeletetropicaljello1988@yahoo.com
I would put- "love God...love others". It's so simple and a gentle reminder of what is MOST important.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, so real and honest!
Cora
"Live in the moment, breathe this moment in. It is fleeting."
ReplyDeleteI hope I win!!!
I think something simple - like just plain "love" or "inspire"
ReplyDeleteor maybe something more - "be gentle" or "speak softly"
kimberly DOT schell AT gmail DOT com
I love the Vintage Pearl....I would put Unfailing Love...this verse is so awesome... Psalm 36:7 "How priceless is your unfailing love"
ReplyDeleteYou know, I have several necklaces that I wear that represent my kids, and several for the baby we haven't met yet in Africa. But I don't have one for my husband and I. So I think I would pick the lovebirds.
ReplyDeletei would get a layered circle of love necklace for my mom with all her kids and grandchild's names on it.
ReplyDeleteWow, I don't even know. I really love all of it! Beautiful jewelry, and I'm not even a big jewelry wearer!
ReplyDeleteI like the name necklaces that are in a circle (I already forgot what they're called!) and the lovebird necklace. Beautiful!
Good luck coming up with a phrase, I'm awful at these things!
Kelli
fivehansens (at) me (dot) com
I love the leather cuffs. Not sure what your cuff should say. Maybe "a la recherche du temps perdu" which I think is Proust?
ReplyDelete"hope never fails" it's from a verse out of the book of Romans and one of my favorites. It's one of those small reminders that always gets me through even the hardest and darkest of times.
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible giveaway with so many choices! I love their items. I have wanted a 'Mom' piece for a while. I'd really have to think about what I'd put on such a nice bracelet!!
ReplyDeleteI've been meditating on the first part of 1 John 4:18 lately...
ReplyDelete"There is no fear in love..."
I love Michele P.'s suggestion. It's beautiful. And it seems very you.
ReplyDeletethere are so many beautiful pieces, it's hard to choose! thank you for the chance to win.
ReplyDelete"Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might." Eph 6:10
that's what i would put on mine, i think.
There are some great ideas here. I've been trying to find a balance between seeing the big picture, and living one day at a time. Some days are so hard. My idea is "one day at at time." I tried a google english to french translation and got "Un jour à la fois."
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your decision and thanks for a great giveaway!
snakessnailsandpuppydogtails at gmail dot com
I'm not a bracelet fan...little wrists, always moves around...but if I were my quote would be an Emily Dickinson quote "Dwell in possibility"
ReplyDelete"with God all things are possible". This is on my charm bracelet and got me through a two year adoption process for my daughter. Love the bangle. Life4sq@Juno.com
ReplyDeleteI'm with Helen Amanda... her children arise and call her blessed.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely giveaway!
"I really wish I had dreads and a nose ring, but I'll settle for this silver bracelet."
ReplyDeleteNah, that's probably too long.
I like the idea of something French for you, but I don't speak French, so I really can't help with that. I love two suggestions above: the Spurgeon quote (I like "worship there" ;) ) and "grace upon grace". They're both beautiful and wonderful reminders. Of course, I think of you as beloved--of God, of your husband, of your children, so that might be a good one, too. And then there's always a reference to a favorite Bible verse that you could use. Man, I thought I didn't have any ideas for you, and look at the novel I've written.
ReplyDeleteI love the double circle necklace. I think I would put my husband and my soon to be born son's name on it. :-) I'm not too great with coming up with phrases. I've always liked "All You Need is Love"
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love the Vintage Pearl. I was visiting her shop earlier today, drooling over the jewelry. If I was going to win something, I'd want the "Initials on a Chain" necklace -- it's so simple and I love the pearl.
ReplyDelete(sorry -- I can't remember enough from my French classes to give you a phrase!)
I like this: Les grandes pensées viennent du coeur - The greatest thoughts come from the heart. It reminds me that my heart knows best!
ReplyDeleteI love TVP...I'd love a cuff for myself that says "Live with purpose."
Thanks for the chance!
Seulement Amour - Simply Love
ReplyDeleteI love the Vintage Pearl - also love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd use this to get Christmas gifts for my fam (lots of girls!). As for you...hmmm...I was thinking early today about the verse "they rise and call her blessed" something like that would be neat inspiration to be a mom who's children call her blessed. I know I feel that way about my mom.
ReplyDeleteI have the Vintage Pearl site bookmarked and recently gave my husband a Christmas wishlist with one of the heart pearl combo necklaces with a heart for each one of my daughters (with their name on it) stamped into it.
ReplyDeleteIf I was going to put a saying though I would put...
Imperfected by a Perfect God (which is something I say all the time)
I think for you, I'd suggest "come alive" (from Howard Thurman's quote, one of my favorites) or "shine", which just seems to fit you. (Because you really do, Steph. You have quite a light, and you share it generously.)
ReplyDeleteYou write a lot about shedding the layers on the outside and finding the true self inside, and I think either of the above suggestions capture that.
I have always be partial to: Live Well- Laugh Often- Love Much.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this: "simple moments of exquisite happiness".
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway. I love TVP. They have beautiful jewelry.
bekki1820cb at gmail dot com
I think you should put something that will make you smile every time you see it :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THE VINTAGE PEARL.
I LOVE your blog. You are an amazing mother and role model!
jennie.h.dickson@gmail.com
if I had a piece of jewelery to inspire me, I'd want it to say:
ReplyDelete{Live Out Loud}
that's something I need to be reminded everyday.
Also, that
{there's no such thing as small change}. I have a banner that says it on my wall. :)
Or probably a scripture. My life verse right now is Romans 12:2
{Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind}.
Okay, so that's a bit lengthy. Maybe just a portion of it <3
--
I adore TVP.. I've been trying to save up for it in forever.
Right now, though, I'd probably get the lovebird necklace for my parent's 25th anniversary.
lots of love
Nadia <3
I don't know what to suggest, but if I win, I would get the Dainty Names necklace.
ReplyDeleteOH I love the Vintage Pearl! And, I know exactly what I'd put on a bracelet like that!! I'd use a quote from T.S. Eliot's "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock": Do I dare disturb the universe?
ReplyDeleteYes, That is exactly what I'd do!!!
The Vintage Pearl has the most beautiful things! I'd be tickled to win. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMegret
musesofmegret (at) gmail (dot) com
What an amazing give away!! Thank you. I would love to put my kiddos name on a beautiful piece of jewelry.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite verses is Matthew 5:13-16
ReplyDeleteSo I would probably get "Salt & Light"
Or simply "Be the Light"
I am sure that both of those would be awesome in french as well, but alas I took Spanish & German in high school.
And I LOVE most everything from The Vintage Pearl.
I'd like to enter both drawings :)
ReplyDeletei'd probably use the money to buy more cloth diapers.
for a saying i'd probably put--
"seek first the Kingdom of God"
831
ReplyDeleteEight letters three words one meaning.
I love you
I love all the suggestions here, especially the bible verses. Just lovely. I would probably just do my children's names, like the example shows. I would love to have something with their names on it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Sign Language I Love You Charm.
ReplyDeletebolszewski at comcast dot net
I think a special little French phrase would be perfect for you!
ReplyDeleteI love the Vintage Pearl! My husband bought me the circle of love bracelet. But he didn't read the post on my blog where I said I wanted our names and anniversary on it. Instead he had 'faith, hope, love' put on it. He said he went with something generic. I said that was funny since I wanted the bracelet b/c it would be unique to me. ;) I wear it every day anyway.
ReplyDeleteAs for your bracelet, I think something like "Do Good. Love yourself and others" would fit you. Good luck choosing something!
oh, I love the layered mother of pearl necklace. I might put something about gratitude on it...
ReplyDeleteeverything is so lovely!
Tut mon amour tut ma vie (All My Love, All My Life).....
ReplyDeleteI just can't top that Steph! It is french for my favorite romantic phrase...
I so dig the bird necklace you featured on your blog...and some fresh water pearl loevliness..
The mantra Om Mani Padme Hum written in Tibetan Script ... I think it is a beautiful in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteThe six syllables purify the six realms of existence in suffering.
There is also a translation:
"Behold! The jewel in the lotus!"
That can mean that from the bottom of the muckiest waters grows the lotus flower.
Here is a link that shows it and talks about it some more.
http://www.dharma-haven.org/tibetan/meaning-of-om-mani-padme-hung.htm
Just a thought!
I don't have any good ideas what to put on the bracelet, but I'd love to win.
ReplyDeleteI just ordered a necklace from the vintage pearl for a friend who recently experienced the death of her baby. Beautiful pieces.
ReplyDeleteLots of great suggestions. I daydream about engraved jewelry often and send my husband links. We just had to get a new kitchen faucet. My husband said he would engrave that with a phrase if I desired. He is so not funny. :)
ReplyDeleteSo, anyway, I like wedding anniversaries between love and cherish, "love 1.27.01 cherish" something like that. I have a necklace with the kids names so I would like something that reminds me to love my husband first.
i adore the lovebird necklace! my bracelet would say proverbs 3:5-6. it's my life verse and i would love to look down on it every day. at least that's my first thought, i'm sure there are a thousand things i could come up with!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting this giveaway. I am a new mom so I find your blog very relevant to my new life :) I would probably say something about God being my strength or my kids names (if I had more than one child). Thanks again and I hope to win!
ReplyDeleteI think I would get myself the thin leather cuff and my husband the regular one...with matching sayings on them. I'm not sure what I would have them say though.
ReplyDeleteEverything there is very pretty. I would love to win! =)
I think your children's names and maybe hope or joy or smile or something like that in between them would be nice.
Every week, as I listen to snippets of the sermon, I am struck by a word or idea that I want to tattoo on my inner wrist to remember it. I would have tattoos up my arm! So I would probably get a cuff with the fruits of the spirit or something else important that I want to remember.
ReplyDeleteIf it was for my wrist, it would read
ReplyDeleteEverybody has worth.
I love the vintage pearl...the vintage lovebirds necklace is so cute...I'd love one for me and my hubby of 17 yrs!
ReplyDeleteThat bracelet is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh, all of the comments are filled with such amazing phrases.
ReplyDeleteIf I was chosen, I'd actually use mine towards a very special gift; for Katie, my midwife.
Katie helped bring Chloe and John into the world, in my bedroom, into my hands, into my heart. We're having another baby and I really want to get her something special
I'm thinking the baby feet stamped on a necklace with her name and something meaningful.
Though maybe I'll leave the shop open on my husband's computer; I'd love something for me too! Beautiful Stuff!
jennifer @ beautifulcalling.ca
you can put "c'est si bon"
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win to have a reason to think up a phrase for a bangle. I also like the our family nest necklace....hmmmm...yep, guess this means I have to win ;-)
I love TVP! I would probably choose the mama bird necklace if I won. We're not done adding kiddos to our family, so I can't do something with their names on it just yet. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteshannonathome @ comcast dot net
What about "Live-Laugh-Love" :)
ReplyDeleteI think you should put some things about yourself on the bangle like
ReplyDeletebabywearing-mama-knit-lovely
:)

I would have.."it all started with a kiss" or "because 2 people fell in love"
ReplyDeleteMy sister just got engaged and when he proposed she answered, "yes, forever yes"...I thought about getting something made with that saying on it for her.
Good luck choosing your engraving!

ReplyDeleteI've been racking my brain all day to come up with the perfect quote for you. I haven't come up with anything fabulous but maybe that's it. Maybe simple is better.
ReplyDeleteI think you should do, "C'est la vie." It just seems like you and your positive spin on life. You are sunshine and that phrase seems like it would help you through the cloudy patches.

I would love to win, everything in TVP is amazingly beautiful, I'd have a hard time picking just ONE thing! Perhaps though, I'd pick the cuff bracelet and have “My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and my talents and I lay them both at his feet.” engraved on it...
ReplyDeleteThat first comment can't be beat! "All my love, all my life" is just the sweetest.
ReplyDeleteSo many choices. I'd love to win!
ReplyDelete"Foi, l'esperance et l'amour" Faith, hope and love. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI adore the vintage lovebirds. By far my new favorite.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! If I won, I would say "live purposefully" that is my mantra at the moment.
ReplyDeleteVivir, Reir, Amar. Live, Laugh, Love. Because I think that's what you do every day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful jewelry!
ReplyDeleteInspire to Live, Live to Love
I think you should put "Shhhhhhhh" on the bracelet, because as mom's we are always lookng for some quiet.

I would probably put my boys names on it or the word Faith.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty- thanks for this giveaway! I would get a baby spoon for my little girl. I still have mine from when I was a baby! I'd love to pass something like that on.

ReplyDeleteI have been inspired by the word: "Enjoy"
ReplyDeleteEnjoy my husband, my baby, and my life!

I love the idea of customized jewelry - I think I might need to place an order for my SIL's b-day for something with her kid's names. So sweet!
ReplyDeleteoh how I love the vintage pearl! I am in love w/ the All Around My Faith necklace!

This is one quote that I still remember from Mauvais' class.:
ReplyDeleteLe plus grand faible des hommes, c'est l'amour qu'ils ont de la vie.
It's from Moliere, and it means, "Man's greatest weakness is his love of life."
This quote makes me think of you and your blogs - the good, the bad, and the beautiful.
my favorite is the vintage lovebirds
ReplyDeletejessicacotten@gmail.com
I haven't seen the bangle before. That is probably what I would pick.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the bangle before. That is probably what I would pick.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pieces! I have long thought about a piece with our children's names on it, or maybe a verse about how much a blessing children are. Maybe I will get that opportunity. :)
ReplyDeletecottonblossom424 at yahoo dot com.
I would probably choose "Be still and know" for my phrase.
ReplyDeleteBut if I won, I think I'd pick the vintage silver pendants necklace.
I think Easey Peasy is my new motto. Not necessarily because everything is easy, as we all know it's not, but because after everything is said and done I realize that it was easier then I expected it to be. Or hope so anyway.
ReplyDeleteAt first I was thinking that you should of course put your kid's names on it, but then I thought that you would have a hard time wearing it if/when you have another kiddo! So, if it were me, I would put "be grateful" on mine - I have a hard time with that a lot!
ReplyDeleteThey make such beautiful jewelry. Maybe go with something simple like Love.
ReplyDeleteI'd choose the circle of love necklace.
i would love to get the africa necklace. it has such special meaning to me. my husband and i feel called to do missions work there as well as possibly adopt a child there. i realllllllly hope to win!
ReplyDeletei think i would probably do seasoned with salt. it represents our life right now.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful!
I could really use some Christmas gifting help! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've wanted a pendant that said "HOPE" for a long time. Our first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and named the baby Hope. Every since that single word has meant more to me than anything else. bluestarjenny@gmail.com
ReplyDeletethat cuff is really pretty. I just don't wear bracelets alot right now because of the kiddos wanting to play with them. I will someday though right?
ReplyDeleteMine might say, "this is the day the Lord hath made..." for lots of reasons... :)
It's funny, this kind of jewelry. I always want to get something my kids' names on it. But then I think, wait, what if there's more kids for me? Then I can't wear it because I'll make that one extra kid feel bad. So yeah, I'd need a good phrase too. Let me know if you get a good suggestion. Beautiful bracelet!

Beautiful jewelry!
ReplyDeleteI know you'll think of something. No question. But if it was me?
ReplyDelete*delight*
I need the reminder often. And to see that word on my wrist would remind me to look deeper into their eyes, or drop the dishcloth and quit watching through the window and just go join them already, or to laugh louder, kiss longer... etc.
After all, He feels the same way about me! (Zeph. 3:17)
Thank you for this giveaway- I'm so excited!!!
Quote: I came to live out loud. My very favorite! And I would love to enter the contest, and I would get something with my baby girl's name on it!
ReplyDeleteI think your kiddos names or initials are a great thing to have on it ~ or maybe a line from your favorite verse. :)
ReplyDeleteVintage Pearl has some amazingly beautiful things!!
What does your heart tell you to put on it? I would probably do something with the initials of my husband & daughter - along with the date of our wedding anniversary and her birth. I'm not really super creative when it comes to things like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such a wonderful giveaway with us!
I like something simple like "Enjoy Today", "Tender Mercies", "Simple Things".
ReplyDeleteI love Vintage Pearl jewelry and woud love to win this! Thanks!

I think your kids' names on it would be perfect.

If I had one I was looking for a word of inspiration I'd put something like "Gratitude" or "Love" the two things that make me the happiest. I guess you could put those in french right?

(without the spaces)
There are some great ideas on here. And I love the jewelry.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was 6 I started telling my grandmom that I love her all there is and I would stretch my arms out wide. I now say this to my sweet children.
ReplyDeletefaithfulmommy03 (at) gmail (dot) com
I love "Un Passo Piu Vicino" which means "One Step Closer". My sister has it tattooed on her foot and I love it.
ReplyDeleteYou got my digits. ;)
What about a favorite verse?
ReplyDeleteThose birds are so cute!
I would put a few words that always lift me up - joy, hope, peace. I have a ring that has these inscribed on it and it always reminds me to look for joy in the little things, let go of fear and live with hope, and seek for peace in my life. I don't know French - but you could always choose some meaningful words for you and have them inscribed in French!
ReplyDeleteI get compliments on my special mother's necklace from the Vintage Pearl ALL the time...hope you find the perfect word(s) for your bracelet!
ReplyDeleteExcellent giveaway. My suggestion would be to take a line from your writings. You write so beautifully and yet succinctly - surely a sentence or phrase about yourself or your life would be a good fit.
ReplyDeleteHow about the word "peace"?
ReplyDeleteOR - this isn't inspirational per se, but you could put your Twitter handle.
I'd put the phrase "Give Every Day" on a bracelet if I won. :)
