I had to take some headshots of the kids today for something fun and I thought I'd share them here.
[sweet gray]
Last night I snuggled up with Noah in my bed and he told me that when he's a Dad he might order Frappuccinos.
Who are you going to marry? I asked.
A pretty woman.
Then he had a serious look on his face and I listened intently. Sometimes... he said. Sometimes I burp before I even know I had to burp.

that photo of ivy is just GLORIOUS. and noah really does look so grown up! good kids you've got there, miss lady.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm in love with that one of Ivy. And I must note that I didn't even edit these photos, except I added a little shadow to Carter's. (more reason to love my camera so much.)

I love these head shots (and I'm intrigued by what they're for!) and your conversation with Noah. So, I asked Luke who he was going to marry after I read this and he said Tommy, so I explained that it had to be a friend and he told me, "Carter! Noah! Ivy! And these spicy chips!" I don't think he quite gets marriage, but I wish I'd been recording.
ReplyDeleteThose kiddos, they are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCan you please take that grown up Gray imposter back to his mommy & bring back your itty-bitty Gray!
ReplyDeleteJ/k
Its so hard to believe how much they've all grown since I started reading your blog.
They're beautiful!
I just love your blog, your take on things, the way you write. Thanks for sharing your *beautiful* family with us. You can see their sweetness just shining through in these photos. :)
ReplyDeletelove the conversation with Noah! all your kids are lovely. i can't believe how grown up grey is! i remember reading your blog when he was the baby!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love those bedtime conversations? Sam says when he's a daddy he'll be able to drink pop and Julia says when she's a mommy she'll be able to drink coffee.
ReplyDeletebig dreams huh? :)
Those photos are so sweet. Also love the minds of children.
ReplyDeleteSuch BEE-YOO-TEE-FUL children Steph!
ReplyDeleteAnd those eyes of Ivy's? Yeah, you're gonna be fightin' the boys off with a stick someday... ;)
You make me excited to have a baby boy and the future conversations I'm going to have with him. Seriously!
ReplyDeleteThose are great :) You can tell their such individuals, but at the same time totally siblings!
ReplyDeleteIs Ivy the only blue eyed babe out of the bunch? I am not sure about Gray's.
ReplyDeleteBut either way they are gorgeous pics of the kiddos!
I totally agree with WBFS - these cannot POSSIBLY be your children. They are ALL too too BIG.
ReplyDeleteAnd gorgeous, as always.
AJ just now had a burp that I think came out before she knew she was going to work. Kismet.
Oh, such life & character in those face! What a beautiful bunch :-)
ReplyDeletehave your boys ever told your husband that they want to marry mommy? :) my two do that a lot, its so cute... and sweet.

Perfect pictures! Ivy's eyes are as blue as the sky. These are better than the pictures they take at school. I can't wait to hang out with my 4 geese on Friday...

ReplyDeleteSuch sweet photos of all of them!! Your boys are such little gentlemen :D
ReplyDelete(I wonder what these headshots are for??)
Also, that's such a nice conversation to have -- so innocent and simple :D
I just caught up on ALL your blogs I've missed over the last 10 days I've been on vacation. I wanted to comment on ALL of them, but frankly, I am WAY TOO TIRED.
ReplyDeleteI love keeping up with you via your blog. It's kind of sad that we never see each other. We really don't live all THAT far away from each other. I still want to visit your church. Maybe this week :)
Ha! That is a Very Serious issue, indeed, the surprise burp.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous... Of course you know that already!!!! Have a fun week!!!
ReplyDelete"a pretty woman". Love that answer.
