It totally did. Like, I watched it happen!
He will always be a measure for my blog, as I started it all when he was just born and babyworn.
He wanted me to hold him a lot on Saturday so I put him in the mei tai (I'm wearing him in this photo, actually.). He is four and-a-half now, and I don't even remember the last time I wore him. Maybe over a year ago, or probably more. Later that night on our walk he said, "Can you just put me in the mei tai again? I can't walk, I hurt my pinky."
A couple links for you:

Isn't it amazing to watch them grow up right before your eyes?
ReplyDelete"I hurt my pinkie" ha ha ha ha
ReplyDelete(I mean, not laughing that he got hurt, but, you know...)
ReplyDeleteGreat post. My son is 11 months old and lately, I've had a really hard time finding any traces of 'baby' in his face. He's such a little boy now!
ReplyDeleteOh, so bittersweet. My husband doesn't understand why I hate cutting our youngest's hair. When he has those longish, whispy locks, his face still looks like a sweet little baby. When we cut his hair, his face takes on the more defined features of an older child. So hard to let go of my baby!
ReplyDeleteOMG...I saw Carter first thing when I looked at Gray. He did grow up over night. He knows how to work you...pinkie? That's ok cause he's still your baby boy.
ReplyDeleteI love that he requested to be worn!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I totally thought this was a post about Carter until I read further down!
ReplyDeleteNell
Wow, he is getting so big.
ReplyDeleteI love that you are still wearing him! Poor little pinky... ;)
ReplyDeleteawe! what a handsome man!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about my Fynn (who's lately been loving riding in the Ergo... and he's 3 1/2! Crazy!) they grow up so fast, and in a blink their faces have less baby and more boy and it's just crazy...
ReplyDeleteHe looks totally different! Oh my, can you believe it?
ReplyDelete(He is still very, very handsome.)
Oh my goodness, he did grow up.
ReplyDeleteGreat links! He is very handsome. Funny when that happens, when their face grows up, and your like, "how the heck did this happen so fast?"
ReplyDeleteWow! Even I see it. Sometimes when it happens with Jackson I'm just shocked.
ReplyDelete3 is getting closer and closer for us.
Aww, how sweet! I swear my son's face grows up some days too. Amazing how it happens all too quick.
ReplyDeleteThey really do change and grow in the blink of an eye sometimes, don't they?
ReplyDeletehis face did grow up. totally saw carter here.
ReplyDeleteWho is that big kid?! Clark weighs 38 pounds. I will not be wearing him anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteThat's a GRAYt picture of Gray. :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I totally love the name Gray.

We call this having a face change as in... "You had a face change yesterday, my sweet child" and yes it always happens overnight!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how big he is getting, so i can't imagine how you feel.
ReplyDeleteSweet little one.
Oh wow! He does look grown up in that pic! :)
ReplyDeleteSteph, I saw this photo and assumed it was Carter. I'M SERIOUS. His face did grow up and I need to use the pinky excuse for laundry.
ReplyDeleteWow, you speak the truth -- grown up overnight!
ReplyDeleteJade is now four (AND A HALF!) and I wore her with my Storch wrap last week. Yep, she still loves it, too.
