[western day at school]
I hear my share of tattles and digs and mean spirited-ness. Oh do I.
I've been reminding my boys

A good friend (and brother) brings attention to each others' strengths, and prays in secret for their weaknesses.
We have similar photos up today. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful reminder for your boys. My youngest two need this reminder also, of course though, don't we all?
Thank you.
This is a good reminder that is perfect for me today. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! What a great reminder for you boys. I pray that when my monkey man turns that age I will be able to be that encouraging.
ReplyDeleteCute picture and great quote.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love that.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture, adore that picture ;-)
and that is a perfect reminder. I need to chat that daily to my children. Maybe I can also whisper it repeatedly in their ears while they sleep?
A wonderful reminder I will be SURE to share with my kids (read: OLDEST SON), too.
ReplyDeleteBTW, we had a cowboy day, too. Except yours is wayyyy better. Mine was a pitiful, piddly excuse for a cowboy costume. LOL
This put a smile on my face. Noah couldn't be any cuter! Great quote too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great thing to teach children! Hopefully I'll be remembering that one! ;) I love the pic too! He looks so rugged and handsome...
ReplyDeleteI love you. I love having friends with three boys (even if I don't have the little girl of an exclamation point at the end). :)
ReplyDelete(I think I've told you before, but my Owen has the same star hoodie with the purple lining = mini teenager. Love.)

ReplyDeleteanother mom says........amen amen amen!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother woman says..........amen amen amen!!!!!
another person says................amen amen amen!
AMEN.....that's all we want for those we raise and come in contact with.....understanding of this, promote strengths, speak loudly of strengths.......pray quietly about weaknesses, be strong enough to promote someone else's weaknesses and allow those weaknesses to be there! IN the weakness is us allowing God to be our strength!!!!!!! Even for our family!
I love that you have "western day" at your school in the Midwest! ;) He looks pretty authentic too...
ReplyDeleteAnd that thing that you tell your boys, is going to be written out and plastered to our fridge. Perfect.

ReplyDeleteSuch a good thing for all of us to learn!

Thank you for this. I've got two girls, but I think the prayer applies.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing to imprint in your boys' hearts and minds. I think I will say the same thing to my girls when they get a little older.
