I left this comment at Sorta Crunchy's today:
"I think about my dreams a lot. Simple ones are that I dream to have a large home (like the one on the Family Stone) big enough to hold all my family including when they get married and have kids so that they can all come stay overnight, I dream of having a huge beautiful backyard with the biggest table and enough chairs to seat whoever we invite, I dream I'll be the right example of a Christian woman (online and in real life) that never makes others feel judged or pushed away or uncomfortable, but draws them to the love of God."

Houses can always be bigger...but the rest you are living it girl! You are an inspiration and encouragement to me daily!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. :-) And I agree with Jen; some are future dreams, but some are attainable even today. I love that you're living it.
ReplyDeleteDitto Jen and Kelly. You have dreams that we should all have.
ReplyDeleteLovely. :)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful. It is funny that you mention the Family Stone. My husband and I are happy with our family of four until we see that movie. Then suddenly we wonder what it would be like to have a large, boisterous, filled-to-the-brim-home. It isn't the house...its the sheer number of people. Like you, I dream of large family gatherings filled with love.
ReplyDeleteI love that house on the Family Stone!
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my favorite movies! :-)
I think you are pretty well on rack with all those other dreams lady.
I think its funny how often I say something in a comment that I really want to write a whole post about.
ReplyDeleteAwww.. dreams!
You have great ones, ones that are reality, and once you can smile over! :)
Well, first of all, thanks for the link love.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I think we have the same heart for hospitality. Kyle and I would love to have space enough to invite anyone and everyone at any time. We love, love, love hosting and hope that God will continue to grow that as a ministry for us.

ReplyDeleteWow, well put. At the risk of sounding redundant. . .beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you mentioned "the family stone"! That movie made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. When I saw it, I thought, "that is how I want my home, my family, to feel like". I love the house, just like so many of the other readers. But more than anything, I want holidays to be a time when the house is full to the brim with family, kids, grandkids, friends. Your dreams are so incredibly beautiful. I think you are well on your way to attaining each and every one of them. You are definitely living the dream in my book.
ReplyDeleteSoooo with you on this one! What a beautiful deep thought, thanks for sharing.
