Coming up for air

Ok. I am still in the middle of posting all the crazyawesome shower gifts & giveaways and was hoping to get them all up in a row

but I missed my blog and had to take this little breather.

*I'm going to keep this post at the top through tonight. I just need my blog back for a bit!

Also? I hope you're enjoying the shower and understand that I am doing this like a friend would throw another friend a shower in real life.

It's fun, but the product features and giveaways are definitely
not something that is going to be a regular occurrence once the shower is over. I don't normally do this and it's been a good reminder that this is not my blogging cup of tea. I want to write. I am doing this is all for Beth.

And that's another thing I was thinking about. All the wonderful prizes that were donated are from relationships I've had in the past or from people that know Beth's story and of course had to be involved in blessing her with the Nest Feathering. NOT ONE company asked for my stats or my traffic or my pageviews or how many comments I usually get on giveaways or anything like that. This is all for Beth.

Some things that make me smile lately- New pajamas. My iced chai and sun rays this morning. Good friends. [VERY good friends.] Heart to heart talks with my hubby. And the other night I was getting out of the car and saw Gray's little foot prints in the slushy snow.

I love how you brought all these people together for Beth. It is such a testament to the goodness and kindness of the internet.

*sigh*its been so long since I had a iced chai or chai of any kind, I must remedy this at the grocery store later.

You're so darling. I am so blessed to know you FOR REAL, and I hope we can hang out soon.

It's funny, I was just talking with Aaron about the night I met you, and I didn't know you were a "blogger" and you didn't know I was a (little) "blogger" and I thought "I could seriously be friends with her!".

I love that you're doing this for her. I love it so much. You've got the biggest heart of anyone I know.

Love the pic! The monkey pajamas are adorable (can I ask where you got them?) And the two of them all bed head and cuddly are adorable!

As much as I'm enjoying your giveaways (and secretly hoping I win them all) I get what you mean. I see people doing giveaways on their blogs and getting all sorts of comments and possibly new followers, and that makes
me wonder if I should try to do one to increase my readership. But what you said is important...it's all based on relationship. You are blessing Beth and you're doing it through people you already had relationship with. It's not about popularity or puffing up your vanity, it's friendship and support. Your kids are adorable and I look forward to reading more about you once the shower's over (and I've won all my swag - haha!)

What you are doing is such a neat idea. And very thoughtful as well. I am sure that it is a lot of work. But I can say that I am loving participating and getting so many neat ideas and shopping lists for our new addition!

You are doing such a lovely thing for Beth. What a great friendship you have and how fun to get to have a shower to celebrate this baby! He should be celebrated! :)

Oh, so good to see you. It's true. Giveaways are fun once in awhile, but for most of us, that's not the reason we started our blogs. It's because we have something to say, not something to sell.

At the same time, what a beautiful thing you are doing for Beth. You are a lovely friend and I feel so blessed to know you.

Oh, this is a sweet thing you are doing for your friend! And, like any shower, a lot of work, I'm sure! Thanks for 'inviting' all of us. :)

you are such an amazing friend. I miss your regular stuff, too - as much as the giveaways are fun! ...and even though I never comment, I love reading! so I figured, here I am commenting on all the giveaway posts, I think I can comment on a regular post, too :)

You do such a great job of letting "your voice" come through even during your product features posts - that's really awesome and shows how genuine you really are.

If I said "thank you" ten times everyday for the next twenty years - it still wouldn't properly portray my gratitude towards you and all that you have done. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Love the pic of your kiddos. They are cute & their jammies are too! :)

I was thinking that posting all of these giveaways must be really tiring because there are SO many! But it's so nice to be able to shower Beth and the new baby with love. It warms my heart so much.
And tiny snow foot prints ... I melt faster than they do after I see them. Seriously. These babies just keep growing and growing.
