I hear it's delurking day or week or something. So that means if you're hanging around you should come out and say hi. And, I'm hoping to visit each and every one of you that does.
I think I have commented before... but I am losing track. I used to be a major lurker on on blogs of people I don't know in 'real' life. But then I started commenting on a few here and there.
The picture is ABSOLUTE sweetness! How completely adorable!
Oh, and I don't have a blog. So you can't visit it. But I appreciate that you would if I did! :)
I think I'm a halfway lurker - I comment occasionally, but I read far more than I comment on. Mostly because I usually can't think of anything relevant to say.
So, hi! And that picture of Ivy is SO sweet ... I'm a little puddle on my keyboard.
Delurking week, eh? Never heard of that. Course, I'm not a lurker on any of the blogs I read. But, I think this is a great idea. Will probably post about it too, just to see who is reading my blog.
Delurking! I've been here for a few months... I came over reading about cloth diapers. I really enjoyed your post on bed sharing/co-sleeping. My baby girl's only 3.5 months now though.
That is very, very sweet! It reminds me of when Sugar first discovered herself in the mirror, she just wanted to stand and stare at herself - making faces and blowing kisses!
Hi. I'm Daneen and I'm a lurker. (Hi, Daneen!) I've been lurking for a long, long time. I asked a babywearing question once, but other than that I lurk. Had my own blog for a while, but then my baby started walking. Excuses.
Our youngest girls are months apart, so I love seeing pix and hearing stories of your sweet girl. I can tell from your transparency in your posts that you and I have a lot in common... and yet, we are quite different. I love that.
i found you when you started writing for real mom's guide...i was one of the moms on the show. i loved your photography and writing, and then felt a bond with you when i read about your little boy having seizures.
my little guy also had unexplainable seizures starting at 10 days old, until his final one at 18 mos old. after months and months of testing and specialists, we finally had to find what worked for US (which meant no meds) and he is a happy and healthy 4 1/2 yr old today. listening to that mother's intuition is so important and i'm glad you're an advocate for it!
anyway i'm happy to have "met" you through RMG and always appreciate your posts. that little ivy is a doll!
OMGoodness...that's beyond sweetness! Precious! I fell of the blogosphere a few months ago - blogging and commenting. But I'm trying to make a comeback in 2010, and what better day to leave a comment? So...Hi again! And I can't believe how fast Ivy has grown, doesn't seem possible. She gets more and more adorable every day!
How cute is that? Hello from North Carolina! I'm definitely guilty of lurking, and I promised myself I would start commenting more on blogs I love, so this was a perfectly timed post. Thanks for sharing with all of us!
Not really delurking, since I've commented here before, but I love your blog, visit every day, and it's so much fun to see your family (especially Ivy) change and grow! :)
That doll of yours has the cutest clothes ever! Love your blog, just found it this week and have been looking for updates since :) Thanks for sharing with us.
Hi Steph, I am delurking today. I generally have my 3 year old on my lap, so I don't tend to comment, but I love your blog. I don't remember how I came across you, I think from flipflopmama, but then I don't remember how I came across her. You are so talented with the knitting and I LOVE the idea of using your tshirts to make Ivy's dresses. Ivy is absolutely precious!
I'm guilty of lurking. I always mean to leave comments, but life gets in the way. I do read you every day though. Thanks for all the smiles. I'm a mother of 4 boys (and loving that) who enjoys all the precious little girl vibes from your blog.
Delurking (but I have commented once before & I won a beautiful Solarveil Sling from it!)
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. I love reading about your life as a mommy & seeing your beautiful pictures. My daughter is about a month younger than Ivy & I love seeing the similarities and feeling your passion for being a mom. I like you love having my angel snuggled close to me while she breastfeeds, am giddy over her girliness & feel so blessed when I watch her sleep next to me at night. Reading your blog inspires me to try and be a better mom. Thank you!
I'm not new to commenting, so feel free to skip your visit to my blog. I hate it right now! I need a new look and new...whatever. Do you ever get sick of you blog? I don't have the funds to hire someone to spruce it up for me, and I don't have the know-how to do it myself, soooo....I've been ignoring it. Bad me.
Alright, I'll delurk! I just started reading last weekend when I figured out which of Erin's Cupcake 10 friends made the gorgeous scarf I loved and harassed her about. :-)
De-lurking week, huh? Well, here I am ... de-lurking. I can't remember how I first stumbled upon your blog but I read because I have a daughter a similar age to Ivy (Sierra is 19 months) and have definately discovered the babywearing love!
I'm kind of a lurker...I've posted comments a few times, but not regularly. I love your blog, though...I have almost 100 blogs in my reader, but I always check yours first to see if there are new posts!
Hi Steph, I've never thought of myself as a "lurker". To me that sounds kind of creepy. I stop by often to "check you out". Now, doesn't that sound much better? LOL
Love following your blog. What a cute picture of Ivy! You are great at picking out the absolute cutest clothes for her too...So beautiful! My husband and I just moved to Savannah, GA from Chicago and we are missing the city like crazy. Your Chicago pics and stories make my heart ache a bit. I hope we can get back there soon, especially so that our litle baby (soon to arrive!!) can see the wonderful city he was made in!
So cute. My baby sister used to talk to her shadow. But I think she stopped when her siblings made fun of her. I hope Ivy's siblings are nicer about that sort of thing than we were!
Delurking! I have followed your blog for a long time and you have made me a strong supporter of slings and babywearing. When my time comes to be a mommy i'm gonna wear my baby like it's going out of style! :)
Sorry I missed the official de-lurking day but hello, yes, I follow your blog! I just don't say much because I don't have anything to say, really... :-)
So, how would we have known that it was delurking day? Or week? Because I would love to put up a delurking post... I guess I still can... it's my blog, right?
That picture is adorable!! My daughter was fascinated with her shadow when she was Ivy's age. Every once in awhile her shadow catches her eye and it's wonderfully sweet. :)
Oh yea completely forgot to mention how beautiful she is! LOVE the interaction with her shadow! Sione just found his reflection in a mirror the other day and is facinated!
She's very beautiful! And hi! I do try to comment occasionally, but I just love reading your blog. Sometimes it's like you are inside my head, reading my mind.
I usually don't comment so I guess that makes me a lurked. Anyhow, I just *love* that you are able to knit fir your little girl. I can't wait until God blesses me with a girl so I can knit cute stuff for her. :)
I've been reading your blog for I think five months now and have only commented once. Sorry. Such a lurker. But, in my defense, I'm usually nursing while reading. :) I really enjoy your blog, thanks for writing!
I meant to comment the other day when you first posted about delurking. I have read your blog for quite awhile now. Love your writing and all of your wonderful pictures!
