Wheelie

wheelie

On New Year's Day we visited my grandparents and the boys gave Ivy rides around the house on Poppal's walker. We know how to have fun.

Noah & Carter return to school on Monday. I might be praying for a snowstorm to come so that they have to close school. I just wish I could keep them home with me a little longer.

The past two weeks have been exceptionally relaxing, cozy, and fun. I don't want it to end.

Hope you've had a great start to your New Year!

I have been feeling the EXACT same way! If we could just cancel school for a little while longer. Nice to know that there are other parents out there who feel the same way. :-)
Your children riding on the walker reminded me of playing in our dog's crate. One would get in, the door would close, and the other two would start pushing it and rolling it over. Oh the simple ways we used to play.

Just one of the many reasons I read your blog! I feel that way too but know so many that can't wait for their kids to get back to school. Have a good transition whether its Monday or not!

Don't you sometimes just want to keep them home forever and homeschool them? The first week was chaos getting used to all three being home, but the past few days have been really nice. I don't want him going back now! Plus I got to sleep in later ;)

Love this! You will never know how much I appreciate you visting your grandparents like you do. I just hope when I am their age that I get lots of visits from my grandkids. It has been a great break for all of you.

I agree - can you send the snow about 2 hours south too? I don't want mine to go back to school either!

My kiddos aren't in school yet, but I can imagine your sadness. Praying that you will be comforted thru that time:)
Great dress on your girllie, btw!

Happy new year Steph!

My kids have one more week off from school. I'm so happy for that.

You may get your wish. I just saw that we have a lake effect show advisory. Keep your fingers crossed.

I bet riding on that walker will be a favorite memory of your kids. Mine loved riding on my grandmother's scooter. we were in florida a few months after she passed away and went to see my grandfather. My 5 year old didn't even ask where Granny was but he was curious why the scooter was gone!

My son's not in school yet, but I've really been enjoying staying snuggled inside with him the past few days!

I love the pictures! My son learned to walk pushing around my husband's grandmother's walker! It's still his favorite "toy" when he goes to Na's house.

I had to laugh at that picture. We just visited my grandparents and every great-grandchild of theirs can not resist a ride in a wheelchair - sometimes Grandma has a pair of twins on her lap as an older great-grandchild pushes.

Hoping you get some snow...

I love how kids know how to make fun out of anything - even a walker :-D

My girls do this with my 96 year old Grandmother's same walker. The thing is my grandmother encourages it every time we go there. I think she just loves seeing the delight on the girls faces when they are on it. So precious!
