Babywearing during the holidays

babywearing on christmas

I'm thankful for babywearing while we celebrate Christmas at family & friend's homes. It's a guaranteed safe place, nap, and comfort for baby. And me.

Yes to the nap and comfort. And double yes to the safe place. Babywearing is the only way I can keep my 16-month-old out of trouble in the holiday crush.

Isn't that the truth? We didn't go anywhere this year, but when we have in years past, my sling was always on and ready for my babe.

We learned that this year too! OBaby took two sling naps on Cmas eve in my sling and it was s safe place to take in all the new faces. Glad to know it will work next year too!

Love this photo.

I didn't take any photos of me and baby, but I got my Sakura Bloom sling just in time for Christmas. I think she just about lived in it for the past 2 days visiting family.

Absolutely LOVE it.

I love the photo - so classy, elegant and just plain beautiful. I wish that I had taken more pictures of Nate when he was a newborn right by the tree...

Lovely and so true. I even wore Tommy during his baptism.

Lovely photo and oh-so-true. Our first Christmas with (our adopted daughter) the Tongginator, babywearing was the only way to protect her from eager relative hugs. And she SO wasn't ready to play the "pass the baby game" especially since she was nearly two.

Isn't babywearing the biggest blessing on busy and overwhelming days? I am so glad I found it :)

Beautiful and so true. My Ivy was sick on Christmas day and we had a houseful of people. Babywearing is a lifesaver in those situations.

Such a lovely photo. How did you manage to get the lighting just right? I have such a hard time with indoor shots...
