I'm busying myself in the kitchen preparing for Christmas eve dinner here tomorrow. I'm about to roll out the sugar cookie dough and let the kids go wild with sprinkles.
The day has been up and down and up for me. Hubby will be late again, but that gives me more time to clean up before he gets home.
Oh, holidays.
The Skydeck people sent over some photos from our trip up the Willis (Sears) Tower on Monday. I think it's so funny how many of you are woozy at the thought of that ledge. I didn't really think about it!
But now I find myself having a talk with the boys, reminding them that they should never walk out the windows of any other tall buildings.
P.S. I love Chicago so much.
Thanks, Kim for inviting us to the #skydecktweet meet-up, and the SkyDeck peeps for our complimentary photos & admission to the SkyDeck.

that looks like tons of fun, but i think i would get sick. vertigo is, decidedly, not fun.
I would love to say I'd be brave enough to walk out on that ledge, but I dunno...well, why not?
PS. Chicago loves you too and wishes you were here more :)
These are just amazing pictures. I must go check this out next week while I am off work. The boys will never forget this.
p.s. I love Chicago too! I miss it.
Oh my goodness!!! I think my stomach just dropped and I got a little sick to my stomach while looking at those pictures!!! You are a brave mama!!! :) Looks like fun though!
Those are fun pictures! :)
you're such a fun mom
wow those are so cool!
Eek! I am feeling vaguely nervous on your behalf, I'll admit it. ;)
Oh, you're so brave! It makes me feel ill just looking at the photos. What a fun experience for your kids though, they'll always remember doing that with you.
Such fun pictuers, but it freaks.me.out!
Spent last weekend in Chicago. I love it too!
So fun! What an amazing, awesome mom you are. Your kids will have tons of fun memories of their childhoods. :)
Wow! I would have totally chickened out and not walked onto the ledge...but I've really enjoyed your photos of it! :-)
Looks like you guys had so much fun!
Woah! Cool photos!
Wow, Awesomw... I was going to say now that is making memories: a highlight of your year... but that's a bit weak isn't it!!! But then so would be my heartbeat to see my kids out there!!!
awesome pictures. the boyfriend would never in his right mind (or his wrong mind) go out on that ledge. he would freak. chicago is lovely, isn't it? that's where we took our "babymoon" of sorts.
Yep, still feeling a little sick to my tummy! Great photos though!
And yes, MUST get back to Chicago soon. I didn't get enough time there and I want to bring the fam!
Feeling dizzy now...could be the 6 Christmas cookies. Oops.
Love the photos. You all look so happy...and brave. Hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas.

Wow! I think I could walk on it, but I don't know how long I could stay!
Ah! CUTE!
Awesome pictures, but I don't know I think I'm one of those people that couldn't do it. The thought of just being that high alone kinda makes me queasy.
lovely pics :) I wish you and your family a great christmas and blessed new year! hugs to you Stef
so fun!
So bummed that I was out of town for this event! Looks like so much fun.
Oh my gosh. I would never, could never do that. My heart stopped just looking at those pictures! I'll gladly keep my feet on the ground, ok?
Oh wow! Such a spectacular view! I've never been to Chicago but there's one reason to go!
no flipping way would i do that! i am a huge chicken about high places. i would probably end up lying down on my stomach and crying. from the comments it looks like i'm not alone!
I love those pictures! I bet your kids thought it was the coolest.
P.S. I would step out on that ledge without a second thought too. I figure it's probably a whole lot safer than, say, driving a car through the city to go on errands...
