and I say a prayer...
I'm so glad you got to go and take photos.i love it!
I've pined for the white house on the corner of Washington and Cherry (I think) for years. When my husband I were first dating, he lived in Valpo and I was at Ball State and he took photos of the house and mailed them to me.
Adorable pictures! I absolutely love fall, it's my favorite time of the year! btw...thank you so much for all of your kind words yesterday!Take care and talk soon,Kristy
The last one is my favorite. Shane and I always talk about someday owning a house like the ones on Washington St (but we always wax poetic about the ones in Crown Point). Maybe we'll be neighbors someday--Shane can cook dinner every night.;)
Dreams and poetry make me smile.Such hopes are splendid things to tuck in your pockets on fall days.....--Sara Sophia
Holy cow autumn is STUNNING where you are! I too dream of grown-up children bringing home their families. What a beautiful post.
The trees look amazing!
I'll come visit you on Washington St, because it's a gorgeous place... but I'll keep my house out in the boonies! LOL
So Beautiful Steph! Your pictures and your words....Autumn is gorgeous where you live!
This is a beautiful post - just beautiful! I've been researching motherblogs for my new blog, and this one makes my heart sing. Well done.
I never thought I would daydream about my kids grown up and having kids but it's hard not to, isn't it?
So pretty!Did you ever see The Family Stone? That's the kind of house I picture us in one day... It's good to have those dreams :)
Gorgeous pictures, Steph!
Wow. This is stunning. Beautiful photos.
Gracious, Steph. Beautiful images.
The color edit in the first is so great - it gives it such a unique feel from the others. But the color saturation is just beautiful in the last photo!! It truly boasts the season well! I loved this sweet post. What beautiful children and great memories you captured!
Beautiful words and pictures! I feel the same way when I wander down Lake Street in our town.
These are so beautiful, Stephanie. SO BEAUTIFUL. My fave is the second to last one. I'm not sure why, it just is.
Look at all those Autumn leaves and all those cute kidlets in them - lovely!!!
oh I really liked that. Every time I watch 'The Family Stone' I think I want a big family and a bigger house and to have them all wander in over a holiday week and have fun together.....someday maybe....
my goodness your babies are beautiful...
How beautiful! I live on a Washington Street, but mine is nowhere near as lovely.
For me, it's here. This house is a total fixer-upper - when we moved in, there was no floor - so it takes alot of work. Every time something else breaks (gas pipe, water main, pipe in the shower wall, etc.), and every time I come home and see that my lawn is dead and my dog has pooped on the porch, I make a wish and imagine it in thirty years. When Charlotte is dropping by with a grandchild, and maybe we have other children and some of them have children of their own, and there are plenty of rooms and the grass is green and the hot water heater works. AH.
I imagine that kind of stuff too.. So sweet.
Such fabulous pictures of your family!
love these pics. =)i love this particular white house on washington. i've taken pictures of it and of one similar that is my very favorite that we passed while on vacation in the South one time. love those thoughts of children & grandchildren filling up the rooms.[miss you!]
O.K. Now I want to live on Washington Street, too! It's BEAUTIFUL!
So poetic! And those fall colors are absolutely firstname.lastname@example.org
