Today is Grayson's birthday. We will be going to lunch at the cupcake shop in a little bit. We will squeeze this day dry of celebrations.
Four years ago my "attachment parenting" began with the birth of Gray. When I began this blog, he was the baby I was wearing. And that's pretty much how it all started.
(As age 4 has crept up and ducked behind a door, peeking in, making its move, I have noticed a change taking place in Gray. I am whispertyping it here because I don't want him to hear. It's a good change. It has me excited and feeling like humongous prayers are being answered right before my very eyeballs.)
Four is good. Three was hard. Two was a blur.
Four is going to be so good.

ReplyDeleteThat one sentence sums it up well. My youngest son is a very hard 3 and most days I wish I could flash forward to 4. The other days, I wish I could rewind to 1 or 2.

I just can't believe he is 4 already! It's always been my favorite age tho. Where does the time go? My Carter is so much like him at times. Those 3rd born are in a class by themselves.
