Things Are Good

goodthings
(The view from here.)

I had a moment just sitting here, I didn't realize how low I must have been lately because in the past few days, I have been feeling very good.

Like, I forgot how this felt. And I don't want to forget ever again.

Oh, and we took the scenic route today.

  2. That's the hardest part, when it takes something to realize how low you have gotten. I hate that moment. But I'm so glad you've realized it and can work to get happier!

  10. Isn't that always the way, not realizing how low we are until we're up again? Crazy... here's to recognizing when we're up :) Glad you're there.

  12. Liked your piece about taking the back roads. I lived about a year in southern Indiana and thought it was so beautiful. Loved all the rolling corn fields, barns, silos and old white farmhouses. I could've stayed there.

  14. It is amazing how we d not realize how low we are until we are actually feeling better... this was exactly how it was or me just after my latest son was born ... looking back I was miserable!

    So here is to feeling better! I hope that it lasts and only gets better!

  15. She is so cute and also, I'm so happy you are where you are right now, but I also believe that sometimes you have to go places you don't want to go in order to be where you are today.

    Wow. That was so confusing.

  17. Here's to keeping the mean reds away. Ivy looks beautiful, her hair is getting so long! And I agree with a previous poster, it must be something in the air, because a lot of us seem to be low lately.

  23. What a beautiful picture. It captures so much of who you are.

    You really do have so much to be thankful for:
    * a beautiful daughter
    * a laptop!
    * knitting supplies
    * etc.

    :)
