There Goes The Neighborhood

As soon as the boys got off the school bus today they were hard at work making homemade "Boo" bags to secretly leave on the doorsteps in our neighborhood.

Filled with trinkets and candy (and a couple healthy treats), they colored on the bags and left little notes inside. Then we went for a walk and they picked which house to leave their bag on the porch, ring the door bell, and run!

  2. We've done that over the past few years too. People never know who has left them. It's funny!

  9. We "Boo" in our neighborhood, too...and it's tons of fun! We have a little picture that we're supposed to hang on the front window so others know we've been "Boo'd" and there's a poem that goes along with it, too. Our challenge is always to hurry up and "Boo" two more houses till the entire street is covered with "Boo" signs.
It's definitely a tradition I will carry on to my next neighborhood! :o)

  14. We used to do that as kids...but in our neighborhood we left our names, because you don't eat candy from strangers!
