I wish I could stomach cleaning out the pumpkins, because fresh roasted seeds are so yummy.
I'm impressed that you put down newspaper. You're clearly better at thinking ahead than I am, I just end up with pumpkin on my floor and stickiness that lasts for weeks!
We baked our seeds too!
We got the "bright" idea to carve ours o the living room floor this year.
Which basically means I'll be picking strands of pumpkin guts out of my carpet for weeks. :-)
