Comes a time, when you're drifting

Comes a time when you settle down.

Comes a light, feelings lifting.
Lift that baby right up off the ground.

Oh, this old world keeps spinning 'round.

It's a wonder tall trees ain't laying down.
There comes a time.

You and I, we were captured. We took our souls and we flew away.

We were right, we were giving.
That's how we kept what we gave away.
Oh, this old world keeps spinning 'round.
It's a wonder tall trees ain't laying down.

There comes a time.
There comes a time.

ReplyDeleteShane, Luke, and I have so many good memories at Coffee Creek, I loved seeing these!
Oh Steph, I am feeling so much emotion looking and reading. These are the best pictures. I want to go to that place sometime and walk...I don't think I've ever been. It makes me want to get out today and enjoy nature. Ivy looks just precious in her coat and cap.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful pictures! I love Ivy's coat and hat.
ReplyDeleteOh my dear. What touching words and photo's!
ReplyDeleteThe colors of nature, the location, the colors of the outfits... but most of all your children.
Such love. Such joy. Such warmth. And you are the reason they are so happy and secure and content.
No matter how your days may go, even when you think you aren't living up to your mommy duties {or feel like you're about to run away}, you must remember that you are everything you need to be at this time in your life.
All you have to do is look at their faces and know what a beautiful soul you are.

Ok, I could go on and on about how adorable your kids are... or how sweet Ivy looks in that coat and hat... or how beautifully those lyrics fit with your gorgeous photos... But what struck me the most was how impressed I am that Ivy left that hat on, lol. My girls would've pulled it off within seconds at that age. :)
