During the Hallmark Mom-e-vent earlier this year we got sneak peek at some new products in the works from Hallmark’s writers and artists, and one of the collections that had us most excited and Rolling On the Floor Laughing were the cards commiserating with us all- from The Edge of Motherhood.

Nothing but the truth.
You know, cards for Real Moms!
And isn't it the best that we can laugh and joke about the reality of Motherhood? (If I couldn't laugh I'd be balled up weeping in a corner... so thank God for the ability to find humor in it all.)
I thought I'd do something fun to ring in Ivy's very first birthday, so until September 15 I'm going to post some fun giveaways every day- you can see all the giveaway posts here.
Leave a comment below if you'd like to win a whole big bundle of cards from Hallmark's Edge of Motherhood and their new line of encouragement cards for kids. Open to residents of the US and Canada!
I'll choose one winner at random on the night of Ivy's birthday, September 15. Winner will be contacted via email (so please include it when you fill out the secure comment form) and I'll also announce all winners here by September 16.
[And might I add in here that I am enjoying my new Real Mom writing gig at Real Moms Guide. Some recent articles for your reading pleasure:
Okay thanks.]

ReplyDeleteLOVE those cards. Sometimes you do just have to laugh it off. Recently we've been dealing with episodes of starting to change our newborn's diaper and then finding out she wasn't quite done yet. It is kind of funny... especially when her daddy is changing her ;-)
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave a comment on your post about the Duggars, but it wouldn't work so I thought I'd leave it here: You should pick up their book, 20 and Counting. They tell why they have so many kids (their faith) and how they handle it. I think they are wonderful parents and have written their book and done their show to help others and to glorify God. It is possible to take good care of 19 kids and afford them all; they have proven it. They've never even accepted government assistance. I'm not sure it's for me, though. They had twins early on. These days, that's an automatic c-section. If a woman had a repeat c-sect for each subsequent pregnancy, she'd be limited to just a few more kids. VBACs are getting harder to come by. We want a large family and what scares me most is the maternity care aspect.
Yep, I love cards. And these look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI love paper things. Pretty stationary, pretty paper lamps...
ReplyDeleteLet the numbers shower me in pretty paper cards!
You know, I have stopped sending cards.. but these are too true and too funny not to send!!!
