I am having much fun with the new camera. I have found that I notice things like the light coming into the window in the bathroom and I grab it and just snap away. I still have no idea what I am doing, but I will get there. I just have to keep taking pictures. So I will.
This is my first favorite photo I've taken with this camera. I am sure there are more to come. And I almost thought I couldn't really share it here, but added a little graphic via Picnik so that I could give you a little peek (including one of my favorite things about Ivy- her sweet little birthmark)...

ReplyDeleteAnd of course, I love the squishy baby leaning over the bathtub.

ReplyDeletegreat shot! you've already discovered the secret to getting great pics... taking LOTS of them.
my unsolicited photo tip: try to forgo the flash as much as possible :) (you may already be doing that anyway) keep shooting!

SO beautiful!!! those little chubby legs are just TOO much. nom, nom.
ReplyDeleteThat photo is SO CUTE! :) You're cute, too, but there's just something about baby rolls. ;)
ReplyDeleteDarling! Both of you.
ReplyDeleteI have a birthmark on my leg, too, and I rather like it.
Nell
Great photo!
ReplyDeleteDid you use flash or do you have such lovely light coming into your bathroom?
I can never get good bathroom shots because it's so dark and ugly-lit.
(Wes' birthmark is on his back, too!)
Steph you are gorgeous as always and that photo of ivy needs to be framed and hung up in the bathroom. It's perfect.
ReplyDeleteBig Sister has the SAME birthmark but hers is right above her little booty. Man!! I wish we lived near you - those two would be such good friends. :)
ReplyDeleteSPANKINS! for both of you. Or maybe just Ivy. Whatever.
ReplyDeleteso so sweet. Your new camera must be amazing and so much fun!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great in the photo of you & nice cover of the heart. My daughter has a birthmark on her side, it's funny because Hubby has the same birthmark. I'm also having camera envy, I want a new one so badly.
ReplyDeleteDelurking to say that camera is awesome...as are Ivy's fat baby legs!
ReplyDeleteUh oh, I spy a Nikon - trouble in my book;) Ok, perhaps an exception in this case.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, I love the fact that she is on her tip toes.
ReplyDeleteI agree its a great pic...even yours :)
ReplyDeleteYou have such a good eye, and great lighting cannot be passed up.
ReplyDeleteThose tippy toes make my heart explode.
Great pictures - your hair looks fabulous and I just want to squeeze Ivy she's so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! Baby buns and tippy-toes. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI see her birthmark. It looks like a football-shaped cafe au lait spot on the back of her thigh? Ryley has a birthmark just like it on his abdomen and another on his lower leg.
Adorable picture of Ivy.
ReplyDeleteKeep snapping away.
Oh my gosh at those thighs! So sweet and a wonderful little modesty graphic. :)
ReplyDeleteadorable!
ReplyDeleteThose legs are to die for!!! Great pic, glad you shared it!

ReplyDeleteCute! Those little baby rolls are precious!
ReplyDeleteOh Goodness! LOVE those thighs!
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to mention jessicasprague.com. I took a photo editing class from her and it was fantastic. You can check out the photos on my blog under the category "Jessica Sprague." I know she does an online digital photography class, so you might want to check that out.
Oh My Cuteness!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that booty pic.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE natural light. My daughter's bedroom is a great place to take pics.
That's just adorable. :)

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that is perfect. I love her chubby thighs.
ReplyDeleteLove your new camera. That is what we were saving for and then our other camera died so we got our point and shoot we have now. It's nice, but someday I am going to get a SLR also. Love that you were gifted that so generously!!!
What a cool pic of you and OMG, those baby thighs...I can't take it!!
ReplyDeletebrilliant! I shoot with a D40 but I would so love to upgrade (someday . . . maybe . . . *sigh*). Love the pigtail mama shot and those THIGHS. OH MY WORD. Lovely shots.

ReplyDeleteLook at those chunkerz!
ReplyDeleteJust too cute. :)
ReplyDeleteI love how she's on her tiptoes! Adorable...enjoy taking new pictures!
ReplyDeleteThat baby is juicy and delicious! I have a set of photos of my baby, rolls and all, peeking over the edge of the tub and then looking to the side and then turning to flash me (and the camera) a huge grin. They are framed together in my hall for all to see. Can't wait till she brings a boyfriend home in 15 years and I can embarrass her with them!
ReplyDeletetoo cute. BOTH of you!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Look at those rolls. LOVELY!
ReplyDeleteHe, he...that is too cute!
ReplyDeleteAnna has those chubby little legs too...I just want to chew on them. Oooo, I love them so much. Nothing like chubby baby legs to give me a giggle!
I love this photo so much, her squishy-ness and her curiosity and her birthmark. Chomp.
ReplyDeletehaha...that photo of Ivy is pricless! Did she find any treasures in the tub? ;)
