Just A Peek

Me & My Cam-er-a

I am having much fun with the new camera. I have found that I notice things like the light coming into the window in the bathroom and I grab it and just snap away. I still have no idea what I am doing, but I will get there. I just have to keep taking pictures. So I will.

This is my first favorite photo I've taken with this camera. I am sure there are more to come. And I almost thought I couldn't really share it here, but added a little graphic via Picnik so that I could give you a little peek (including one of my favorite things about Ivy- her sweet little birthmark)...

    great shot! you've already discovered the secret to getting great pics... taking LOTS of them.

    my unsolicited photo tip: try to forgo the flash as much as possible :) (you may already be doing that anyway) keep shooting!

    Did you use flash or do you have such lovely light coming into your bathroom?

    I can never get good bathroom shots because it's so dark and ugly-lit.

  13. Your hair looks great in the photo of you & nice cover of the heart. My daughter has a birthmark on her side, it's funny because Hubby has the same birthmark. I'm also having camera envy, I want a new one so badly.

    How adorable! Baby buns and tippy-toes. Sigh.

    I see her birthmark. It looks like a football-shaped cafe au lait spot on the back of her thigh? Ryley has a birthmark just like it on his abdomen and another on his lower leg.

    Love your new camera. That is what we were saving for and then our other camera died so we got our point and shoot we have now. It's nice, but someday I am going to get a SLR also. Love that you were gifted that so generously!!!

  41. That baby is juicy and delicious! I have a set of photos of my baby, rolls and all, peeking over the edge of the tub and then looking to the side and then turning to flash me (and the camera) a huge grin. They are framed together in my hall for all to see. Can't wait till she brings a boyfriend home in 15 years and I can embarrass her with them!
