I Really Miss My Kids *PS!

That is all.

P.S.

I meant that is all I am going to post.

Not that is all I miss.

Last night Heather & Beth & I were talking about that girl who was kidnapped for 18 years. We let our minds go there, thinking about our own children. And I ached for mine. Their innocence and their love.

I can't wait to be home to my family and my wonderful hubby. He has been giving me the best updates while I've been away. I miss him very much.

  2. I miss my oldest, too. I'm new to this off-to-school thing. Oh my goodness, the house feels so weird without him in it!

So is it you plus two at home now?

  3. isnt it funny how when we are with them 24/7 all we can think about is a break and when we get a break all we can think about is them.

No worries you will be home soon!

  4. :-(

I can't honestly say I KNOW how you feel because I just have one kiddo and the longest I've been away from her is a day. But I can imagine.

  10. I so wish I could have been at that dinner table with you guys because frankly, we just didn't spend enough time together at Blogher. I will be having lunch with Heather on Sunday at the Mall of Americas and that's cool but it would have been better to hang out with all 3 of you! You'll see your children today, right?

  12. That woman is ruined for life. Sure, she will be reunited with her family. And by the Grace of God and TONS of therapy, she'll live a full life. But lets face it, the damage has been done. Even when I just allow myself to go there the tiniest bit, thinking about it being my child, I want to get sick. I can't ever let my mind fully go to that dark place.

  13. I was just talking about that story before I checked your blog today... strange! What a horror for that family and that woman. I know you can't protect them from everything, no matter how well you teach them, but stories like these reaffirm the decision we made when my daughter was born to put her into martial arts at a young age (when she turns 4). I want her to at least have a chance to defend herself.
