She might. My mom did a phenomenal job of convincing me that I am beautiful and intelligent. I was well into my 20s before it ever occurred to me that I might not be. And by the time you're that age? It's just not as big a deal. So keep faith; little Ivy might always know she's lovely after all =)
I think instilling positive body image, especially in girls, has to be our goal as parents. And in our society it's certainly not the easiest task.
