It's so hot here that my camera keeps fogging up when I try to take pictures at the park! 
So we're staying cool on the merry go round.
You know my first sling maker Kim of KimzKreations? Well, she makes beautiful solarveil slings perfect for summer and water. The solarveil offers up some protection from the sun and is also very lightweight on a hot summer day.
She sent me a new one in pink for Ivy just because and it's already on loan for a friend to try out at the beach, so I didn't get a photo in it yet (but you can see me wearing my black one she gave me, also out on loan, here with Gray.)
Kim's such a giver (like me, apparently!) and she wants to make one for you using a pair of very special rings she has, and you can choose from several fabric colors if you win.

Oh, I'd love one of those for my little Beverlie! I've been so worried about the sun burning her again. She's only 3 months old and has already had her first sunburn despite my best efforts to keep her out of the sun. =(
My camera has been doing that a lot lately also, it is so frustrating at times.
with a 3 year old and a 1 year old, a cool, water friendly sling to hold my newborn (due at the end of july!) would be a total blessing. I'd love to be outside with my older girls as much as possible!
Slings for in the water sound great! And since it's looking like DH is eager, against my better judgement we'll probably end up with a summer baby. Hot sticky East coast summer means I will be int he water like crazy!

We spent a very hot Wednesday at a free spray park about 25 min from our house. Nothing is better than cooling off in the cold water then playing in the sand box for hours!!

Great photographs! I love the idea of a water-friendly sling! I've been using a snugli and a maya wrap since Oscar was born four months ago, and I'm just beginning to learn about all the wonderful slings out there.

Oh, that's wonderful! I wear my 21-month-old a LOT (she has SPD and wants to be held all. the. time. every day) and ring slings are the best for us for nursing.

It's too hot here as well. Especially for me, being 26 weeks pregnant with our third. The first two seem unaffected by the heat and could play outside all day! I would love to win the sling.
