Yesterday I took two kids to the dentist, three to the mall to have eye glasses repaired, and four to Target after school.
It rained most of the day and the hardest, of course, when all five of us sloshed through the Target parking lot. All of us soaked. And water leaked into my shoes. And Gray's.
And I felt the cold rain on my arms and heard the sounds of our rushing and breathed the smell of humid inside the car. Things weren't so out of focus. And I could taste being alive.

Conquering the world, one errand at a time! :)
I need to take two of our kids to the eye dr, and 4 of the 5 to the dentist, I am NOT looking forward to it.
I think experiences like that are so liberating!
Good on ya :)
I love this! What a busy day, bringing a sweet reminder that life is FULL, in a very good way.
I sloshed through the Target parking lot the other day too. Then I realized I was wearing my slippers! True story. :)
I am laughing so hard at Noah. I left my umbrella at Target, I should have told you so you could have gotten it and used it to keep dry.
Great photo!
That is an awesome selection! HA!
Oh I can't imagine rain and 4 kids! I barely handle two, lol!
Excellent treasure box choice! Kudos to you for your accomplishments. I can barely handle two little ones shopping by myself!
I've tagged you over at my blog http://mythoughtsramblingsandmusings.blogspot.com/2009/04/eight-things.html . Please stop by if you would like to play :).
I hate the rain!! But at least you were all together and all the errands got done. :)
Sometimes it's nice to get rained on. I think moms should get to pick from a treasure chest too. It could have Starbucks and Sephora gift cards in it. Hmm, maybe I should have been a dentist. The MOST POPULAR DENTIST EVER!!!
Ahhh, that does sound like being alive.

5 kids to Target - I don't know if I can do that - 3 is tough enough
What a day! I'm exhausted just READING it! Love the pic!
It's the little things right?
Love his treasure box selection! heehee my boys would have picked the same thing.
The picture made me smile =) What a great toy!
You are sounding so much happier lately...
That is the second picture of a boy with those glasses on in two days.
Agreed. Those glasses were the most excellent selection. hehe, cute picture. His personality really shines through in that photo.
