I call her Beauty. And my Love Love.

Before this little girl became my daughter I didn't realize how much I would enjoy the ribbons and the bows. All the frills and the pink. Ivy LaRue is The Picture Princess. It's in her name, it's in her eyes. It's in my heart.

I'd love to fill Ivy's closet with every one of the little girls and girls dresses from shabby baby (and my closet longs for a shabby apple wardrobe, too!)
This is our entry into a sweet little contest that would be so very fun to win.
These gorgeous photos mean so much to me and are by Beth Fletcher Photography.

(I am NOT a stalker. I am NOT a stalker. Say it with me, Steph: "Christine is not a stalker...")
ReplyDeleteBut I did dream about you last night.
Not so much you, but lil' miss Ivy.
(Say it again, "Christine is not a stalker...")
It was Ivy and you and me and we were havin' a grand ol' time at some conference. And I got to take care of Ivy while you took care of business. And Ivy's hair was blonde (huh?!) and curly.
But she still had the face I've come to love seeing almost daily.
And you were sweet as I remember when I met you fleetingly at BlogHer 08. When Ivy was still a stowaway...
Then I was awakened abruptly from brushing my cheek against Ivy's wonderful-smelling head. My husband forgot to spring-forward his clock (a little late in the game, I know). So I heard WHAT TIME IS IT?! And he flew out of bed taking half the sheets with him. And my sweet dream of Ivy was cut short...
So there you go: almost creepy to read, I'm sure, but what do you expect from your readers when our eyes are graced with such buttery cuteness every day??!
And in spite of this post, PLEASE don't cut me off.
(And please continue: "Christine is not a stalker. Unstable, maybe, but not a stalker...")
Oh, gorgeous! I especially love the first and third ones! Beth does incredible work...and your Ivy is an ideal model.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Her eyes just glow! I think she melts a lot of hearts. Being her mom has got to be over the top! How it should be!

ReplyDeleteYeah - it's so easy to get sucked right in to the pink and frills. I completely understand!
