It's Personal

On the first day of Blissdom, just as I was heading down the hall for the opening session, I spotted an adorable gal with the best-hair-ever carrying a very cute bag.

And if you know me, when I see something I like on someone else, I have no problem telling them and asking where they got it. (For those of you wanting tips about attending blog conferences, we all love to be complimented, so this is a great way to meet people!)

I'm so glad I asked her where she got it although, bummer, it was from a boutique where she lives- but we formally introduced ourselves and it appears this beautiful person I was gushing over was Lisa Leonard!

You know, THE Lisa Leonard that makes all the fabulous personalized jewelry designs?

We exchanged cards and hers came with something extra special- a pouch with candy (like Skittles and Nerds!) and a special charm from her collection!

Later that weekend I got a lovely email from her and she wants to give two of you, my wonderful readers, each a $50 gift certificate to Lisa Leonard Designs.

Here's how you can win and help me out at the same time. I can't decide what I want for myself! I kinda would like a necklace but do love the sterling cuff, and I tend to be more simple but I really like many of the inspired designs. I just have no idea what I should get and how I would personalize it. It doesn't have to have my kids' names or initials either.

Sometimes I think some of you know me better than I do, so can you come up with some ideas for me?

Or, if you'd rather, just leave a comment telling me what you'd choose for yourself!

I'll choose two winners at random sometime after 11:59 PM next Monday March 2. And I'll also reveal what I choose for myself!

  1. I LOVE the itty bitty hearts necklace, since I know I'm not done having kids, but would LOVE something with my kid's initials that is perfect; I can add more hearts as I have kids! TO COOL.

    For you, I actually really love the lovebird necklace or the blossoms necklace. The blossoms remind me of your blog :) and the lovebird, for some reason, just seems like you. Full of love and hugs for everyone: kids, hubby, family, friends, and even us random, late night blog readers :) lol

  7. I personally would totally have to go with the itty bitty hearts necklace because I really want some Mama jewelry and I only have one baby so far - so I could add on later! I really love all her stuff though and I don't think you could go wrong with any of it. I think maybe the "find the joy" necklace for you?

  25. I have been trying to win a Lisa Leonard giveaway forever! What I would choose always changes. Right now I'm thinking I would like the stackable rings, with my name and my husband's name, and possibly a third with our wedding date.

    So some of my favorites are the oval monogram- could you just put your kids initials? And of course the itty bitty hearts with one for each of your loves.

  29. I was thinking of these options:

    word of the year necklace - with either "fly" or "carried". Carried because we are all carried by our Heavenly Father or Fly because I see you as a free spirit who'd like to get in her car some days and just drive.

    Single Tag Necklace (or any of the other ones that you can engrave) - with the word four in french: quatre. Obviously the reason why is that you have four children.

    Those would be my suggestions.

    If I were to win I'd the Oval Monogram Necklace and have my Granny's initials engraved and would give this to my Mother. My Granny (Violet Evelyn) meant so much to both of us and it would mean so much to my Mother. I'd love one too, but she needs it more.

  43. Oh I have been looking for something like this! I don't wear a lot of jewlery anymore, but i want a simple everyday peice that is sort of my signature. I would go for something with Jack and baby #2's name on it that obviously can be added too. Not too large because that could be a lot of weight around my neck if God blesses us!   60. I am not sure if you have any siblings but I think you should get the "Sweet Sister" design. It's adorable and the values it represents really strike me as appropriate for you, so even if you aren't a sister, you can wear it now to pass down to Ivy when she's big enough.

I do like the cuff you mentioned but I also really love the “true love hearts” the “love bird” and the “my heart”. They don’t have the option to add names but they are just so sweet, hopefully you will like them too :)

  154. I don't know why, but the two that remind me most of what I know about you are the Open Circle that says "Love With Your Whole Heart" and the "Find Joy" necklace under "something inspired." MY favorite, is the Open Circle, but I also love the "Hugs & Kisses, and the Tiny Squares.

  161. I love the stackable rings; although, if I have more than two children I'll have to expand to a second finger. :-) So, I'd probably go with a necklace with the kids' names if I won the gc. I've been admiring her designs from afar for quite some time.

I think you need the find joy necklace... as you said today there is a lot of heavy stuff on your blog lately, nothing quite like have a necklace to remind you to find joy.
