It's Personal

On the first day of Blissdom, just as I was heading down the hall for the opening session, I spotted an adorable gal with the best-hair-ever carrying a very cute bag.

And if you know me, when I see something I like on someone else, I have no problem telling them and asking where they got it. (For those of you wanting tips about attending blog conferences, we all love to be complimented, so this is a great way to meet people!)

I'm so glad I asked her where she got it although, bummer, it was from a boutique where she lives- but we formally introduced ourselves and it appears this beautiful person I was gushing over was Lisa Leonard!

You know, THE Lisa Leonard that makes all the fabulous personalized jewelry designs?

We exchanged cards and hers came with something extra special- a pouch with candy (like Skittles and Nerds!) and a special charm from her collection!

Later that weekend I got a lovely email from her and she wants to give
two of you, my wonderful readers, each a $50 gift certificate to Lisa Leonard Designs.

Here's how you can win and help me out at the same time. I can't decide what I want for myself! I kinda would like a necklace but do love the sterling cuff, and I tend to be more simple but I really like many of the inspired designs. I just have no idea what I should get and how I would personalize it. It doesn't have to have my kids' names or initials either.

Sometimes I think some of you know me better than I do, so can you come up with some ideas for me?

Or, if you'd rather, just leave a comment telling me what you'd choose for yourself!

I'll choose two winners at random sometime after 11:59 PM next Monday March 2. And I'll also reveal what I choose for myself!

Contest has ended. Congrats to Sheila at Momfessions and Marcie from A Child Chosen!

I will reveal what I chose when it arrives!

If you Twitter (I'm @babysteph) or blog about this giveaway, you will earn one additional entry. Please leave an extra comment if you do!

Pictured is this month's featured necklace of two little feet that you can customize with your kids' names or a special phrase. Such a sweet way to forever keep those tiny pitter patters close to your heart!

I promise I haven't forgotten to continue with my Blissperience answers! I'll be working on them this week.

  1. I LOVE the itty bitty hearts necklace, since I know I'm not done having kids, but would LOVE something with my kid's initials that is perfect; I can add more hearts as I have kids! TO COOL.

For you, I actually really love the lovebird necklace or the blossoms necklace. The blossoms remind me of your blog :) and the lovebird, for some reason, just seems like you. Full of love and hugs for everyone: kids, hubby, family, friends, and even us random, late night blog readers :) lol

  5. her stuff is so nice i can't even begin to chose just one. but, i love the sterling cuff. the little pearl hanging off the end is just...too cool. i also like the "a little birdie told me" necklace. it is just cute. i think, the nice thing, is that you could chose anything from her site and rock it with pride ;)

  6. I personally would totally have to go with the itty bitty hearts necklace because I really want some Mama jewelry and I only have one baby so far - so I could add on later! I really love all her stuff though and I don't think you could go wrong with any of it. I think maybe the "find the joy" necklace for you?

    ReplyDelete
  7. oh I have been coveting her beautiful accessories for ages now. I would LOVE to wear the oval monogram necklace. That is what I would get for sure.

for you - I think luck mommy fits the bill.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I really like those pearl dangle earrings. If you got a necklace you would have lots of names to put on there. I only have 1 so far...but we are not done ;)

  9. My favorite is the tiny squares necklace. I love a lot of her other stuff, too, like the new one with the birdie.

  10. Thank you and Lisa for a really special giveaway. . .I was drooling over things for myself and thinking of something for you (the blossoms necklace) but when I saw the sweet sister necklace, I knew that is what I would choose. I would send it to my sister who is going through a hard time right now.
    thanks again!

There are so many wonderful designs. I would have such a hard time choosing, whatever you go with...it will be beautiful!

  15. I'd love to get Lisa Leonard's "Word of the Year Necklace." The difficult part would be narrowing the choices for the most wonderful word.

    Yay for the giveaway!

  16. I would love teh "wish" neckalce, very cute!

    ReplyDelete
  19. I really like the simple stuff, particularly the oval monogram.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think you should get the sweet simple bird necklace, it is darling.

    ReplyDelete
  21. LOVE the oval monogram necklace. LOVE.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I really like the teeny intials necklace & also the lovebird necklace really seems like something that is you. Whatever you pick will be awesome, as are all of her designs!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I have been trying to win a Lisa Leonard giveaway forever! What I would choose always changes. Right now I'm thinking I would like the stackable rings, with my name and my husband's name, and possibly a third with our wedding date.

For you, I think the tiny open circle necklace would be perfect. One ring for each kid of course.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I am in love with the sweet simple bird necklace! I keep wanting to order it, but then I just rationalize that I don't NEED it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh, Steph, there are some very wonderful choices. How to decide?
So some of my favorites are the oval monogram- could you just put your kids initials? And of course the itty bitty hearts with one for each of your loves.

However, I really love the lovebird necklace! I think that would be my favorite, and it also suits you well.
    Jen

    ReplyDelete
  26. Okay, I totally want to win, I would get the rings.

For you, I love the simple bird necklace. I see it and it makes my heart hurt and swell all at the same time, I just love it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I was thinking of these options:

word of the year necklace - with either "fly" or "carried". Carried because we are all carried by our Heavenly Father or Fly because I see you as a free spirit who'd like to get in her car some days and just drive.

Single Tag Necklace (or any of the other ones that you can engrave) - with the word four in french: quatre. Obviously the reason why is that you have four children.

    Those would be my suggestions.

    :)

If I were to win I'd the Oval Monogram Necklace and have my Granny's initials engraved and would give this to my Mother. My Granny (Violet Evelyn) meant so much to both of us and it would mean so much to my Mother. I'd love one too, but she needs it more.

    Nell

    ReplyDelete
  28. I like all of them - but I'd love to have her do a personalized one with all four of my kids' names on it - like the one where they circle around the family tree.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I tweeted: casualeveryday Win a personalized necklace, @babysteph and help her pick one for herself. http://tinyurl.com/atbffc

    ReplyDelete
  30. I love her designs, all of them! So difficult to choose just one, so I say the Bloom and the open heart circle. Thanks for a great opportunity!

    ReplyDelete
  31. The sterling cuff is really nice - that would be a good pick. Or else the open circle necklace with your kids' names on it.

  32. I think the Oval Monogram Necklace would look awesome on you, except I would do the initials of your kids, or you and your hubby :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. I would go with the Petite Original Circle and have Isaiah put on it. I lost him at 20 weeks last summer. I have wanted to do something with his name to remember and this would be perfect!

For you, I think the blossoms necklace. So cute.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I like the "Lucky Mommy", but the oval monogram is really nice, too.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  40. The little tiny hearts necklace is wonderful. That is what I would choose.

You could pick extra hearts for all of your little ones!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Oh I have been looking for something like this! I don't wear a lot of jewlery anymore, but i want a simple everyday peice that is sort of my signature. I would go for something with Jack and baby #2's name on it that obviously can be added too. Not too large because that could be a lot of weight around my neck if God blesses us! Maybe the dog tags with their names or the mini circles with initals. Love the site! Thanks for the link and contest~!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I really like the simplicity of the Oval Monogram Necklace, but I also like the fun hugs and kisses necklace...So it would be tough for me to choose just one.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I am having a hard time choosing something I like. I love the initial heart necklaces. That would be really cute adn with all the babies initials on it it could be kinda funky for you too.

    ReplyDelete
  53. For some reason I can easily picture you with the lovebird necklace.

I'd consider itty biity hearts necklace and get a tiny heart with the first initial of each of my babies on it. Of course, I'd have to wait and see what this second one's name will be.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I am not sure if you have any siblings but I think you should get the "Sweet Sister" design. It's adorable and the values it represents really strike me as appropriate for you, so even if you aren't a sister, you can wear it now to pass down to Ivy when she's big enough.

    ReplyDelete
  58. This is such an AWESOME website…I had a hard time deciding because I honestly love most everything she makes. I do like the cuff you mentioned but I also really love the “true love hearts” the “love bird” and the “my heart”. They don’t have the option to add names but they are just so sweet, hopefully you will like them too :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. I think the bloom necklace would be perfect for you. It matches your blog so well!! It's almost like it was designed especially for you.

I like the family tree, but with 5 kids with long names I can't fit all of their names. Poopy!

I think I'd choose the teeny tiny initials and add a couple charms.

Whatever you choose, you will look beautiful in. Tough choices though because it would be so easy to get one of everything!

  143. I love Lisa Leonard too!! Her stuff is beautiful! I would get either the tiny squares or the mini open circles with my kids' names on them. And since I already have a "special" necklace from hubby that I wear everyday, I would put them on the key chain so I could still use it everyday! Great giveaway -- please pick me!

  144. The bloom necklace or the sweet simple bird necklace are so cute... :) They go with anything and everything. If I won, could I order one of those and wear every day of my life?

  145. I love her jewelry, though I have never owned any, and would be so excited to get any of her pieces. I especially like the design with a pearl and the squares with kids' names.

I like the Lovebird for you.

thanks to both of you for this fun chance!

  146. I could see you wearing the open circle - love with your whole heart. You often talk about your love for your children.

I would pick the sweet simple bird necklace for me.

  147. I don't know why, but the two that remind me most of what I know about you are the Open Circle that says "Love With Your Whole Heart" and the "Find Joy" necklace under "something inspired." MY favorite, is the Open Circle, but I also love the "Hugs & Kisses, and the Tiny Squares.

Can't wait to see what you choose! Thanks for the chance to enter. Her designs are stunning.

  149. I really like the "lucky mommy" one, but it would be great to personalize it somehow. Something like "hope is in my child" or something like that. I love all of her designs! I'm tweeting!

  150. The sterling cuff is very lovely! But I think the 'Sparkle' necklace would suit you, too. You just shine and sparkle.

I love her designs. Especially the pearl accents. I'm very fond of pearls.

  152. That silver cuff really does seem like you! Maybe you could get it engraved with your favorite saying?

I love the itty bitty hearts necklace and would get 3 hearts with each child's initial.

  154. I love the stackable rings; although, if I have more than two children I'll have to expand to a second finger. :-) So, I'd probably go with a necklace with the kids' names if I won the gc. I've been admiring her designs from afar for quite some time.

I really like the silver cuff; it looks like something you would pick out.

Thanks for a chance to win!

  155. I love the word of the year necklace. My word of the year would be Believe since I have son-in-law who is stationed in Iraq (a medic) and I want him to return safely.

  158. There is so much cute stuff that I have had a hard time picking out just one. I had to go back several times to look over it all again. I think you need the find joy necklace... as you said today there is a lot of heavy stuff on your blog lately, nothing quite like have a necklace to remind you to find joy. I also REALLY like the lovebird necklace. That is the one I keep going back to, its simple and at the same time not at all.

  159. I LOVE Lisa's designs and I own the teeny tiny initials necklace with a K and a B for each of my little girls. It's a great necklace, I get TONS of compliments on it, and it reminds me of my little girls when I wear it.

  160. I super love the Oval Monogram Necklace. Simple yet elegant for sure!

  161. My favorite is the riveted heart necklace, I love how it's simple and sweet. Plus, I'm all about personalization and I love the idea of having my kids' names engraved on there.

    Thanks!
