Something's Missing

Two weeks ago I wouldn't have guessed I'd be feeling like I am today. Christmas break was starting and with the kids off school I just didn't know if I was ready for it- mentally and physically.

But now, as I'm thinking about the boys going back to school on Monday, I'm sad. Without them near me it's like I'm missing an arm or an eye or something.

I finally got my Mommy groove back.

I really don't want to go back to school. The first few days of break all my girls do is fight. I think they need to get used to being with each other all the time again. Now, when things are settling down and we're getting into the groove of being around each other, it's time to go back.

I totally can relate to this. But then you'll get used to them being in school and they'll have break again!

Going back to school is always tough on the kids. It's great to have the mommy groove back. I just had my gown kids home and they are gone, I'm surprised at how much I'm missing them.

How sweet! I feel this way now that I have pulled Chandler out of school. When he was first home I thought I was going to lose my marbles after several months of peace and quiet with just me and baby Gray. Now that I think about sending him back for spring, it makes me sad! :) I agree with Lisa, spring break and SUMMER isn't far away!!!

Dude. I take countless pictures of toothless grins. I LOVE them.

That last post made me gasp. I thought it might be a recap post and then? Then I was counting how old Ivy was. And then I was hoping you weren't disappointed that it was negative... :)

Big Brother will go to school in just nine months and that makes me so sad. I hate the thought of him being gone all day. :(

I know what you mean. But now that I'm homeschooling 4 of mine, I wish for somewhere to send them sometimes. I guess we just can't ever be satisfied huh?

Happy New Year.

I'm looking forward to starting our homeschooling on Monday! I've been taking a break and we are so unorganized...I can't wait to get my mommy grove back as soon we get into our regular routine again.

what a cute "toothless" grin. and your previous post...how crazy! i often use the walmart brand of pregnancy tests and they use the same system, so i knew about the lines, but it would be crazy to think that until you looked at the box!!
glad you've got your mommy groove back!

Im one of the few who looks forward to school starting back, its actually just nursery for a few hours a day but provides us all with a break. Such cute boy you have there.

I love the picture! I homeschool mine, so I don't know the feeling of sending them back to school. Sometimes, I wish I did! :)

I am happy you are back in the mommy groove.

Happy you got your groove back!!! We plan to home school so I wouldn't need to have separation but from time to time I bet I would love to have a break!!!

Strangely, I got my Mommy groove back over the break as well.

Jackson and I have really hit a good stride the past two weeks, and I'm little sad to see him back in preschool on Monday.
