However.
Three boys can get too creative.
Carter wanted to see what it would be like to stick popcorn in his and Gray's ears. Gray's got stuck. Of course I didn't find out until they couldn't get it out and came to me with big saucered eyes of horror because they were convinced it would go into his brain.
And I hadn't thought much of telling them earlier that we had no tape when they wanted to hang up the many pictures they made of Ivy.

The popcorn eventually fell out.

Oh goodness! Band-aids :-)
ReplyDeleteSuper sweet picture though!
That picture is CLASSIC. HA! Don't ever get rid of it!
ReplyDeletewell you had an interesting day!!! Kid are so much fun but sometimes to much LOL
ReplyDeleteOh, hilarious! Love the band-aids.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad he didn't get popcorn in his brain! ;o)
That's classic!
ReplyDeleteSounds like something my kids would do...the popcorn AND bandaids! Love it.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that is so darn cute! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love the pic and the bandaid idea!! Smart kids! :o) Glad the popcorn fell out and required no intervention. . .
ReplyDeleteOh, what a laugh! Such cuteness.
ReplyDeleteJust think how you've taught them to improvise using bandaids to replace tape. Magnets on metal might help too. Oh yes popcorn in the ear might just be a tad better than beads, macaroni or whatnot up noses. Ah the stories you'll have to tell your grandchildren some day.
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! They certainly are creative. Glad the popcorn fell out. A kid I knew once put a bean in his ear and then tried to get it out with water - not a good idea.
ReplyDeleteOur children are related.
ReplyDeletemy sister put a button up her nose once. I think it did touch her brain ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL That is creative!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for saying that your kids are better behaved without tv. Mine are the exact same way. I rarely turn it on at all now because it makes that much of a difference. Of course, I get mean comments from other parents whenever I mention that because they feelI am trying to one-up their parenting choices. Hey, to each their own.
Bandaids, that's just too funny! They are certainly resourceful!
ReplyDeleteBeen there done that, and a bead up the nose, couldn't get it out so they stuck another one up "to try and loosen it"- love the logic of little boys!!!
ReplyDeletehey band-aids have multiple uses, who knew!
ReplyDeletePopcorn in his ear? Oh, that makes for a great story. Boys are too funny!
ReplyDeleteYour boys are mighty resourceful!
ReplyDeleteLove their creativity! And glad the popcorn fell out on it's own. :)
ReplyDeleteNew reader, your writing had me laughing out loud!
ReplyDeleteWhat in interesting day, the band-aids are classic!
So glad you didn't have to brave the doctor's office for a popcorn-ectomy in -19 degrees.
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty creative. Sounds like my kids, except I can't do the whole day with no TV.
ReplyDeleteToo funny about the popcorn. I've never had my kids stick stuff in their ears...yet. They always go for the nose so far! And what a great picture of Ivy :)
ReplyDeletetoo creative can cause troubles :)
ReplyDeleteI found three websites that have lots of unique baby shower invitations, personalized baby shower invitations and custom baby shower invitations cards at:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.cardsshoppe.com/baby-shower-invitations/

I have ordered from all three for my pregnancy, baby shower and birth announcements and been very pleased. Take and look and see what you think.
What a riot! And the bandaids...impressive actually. They sure did get creative and find a solution.
ReplyDeleteHow funny is that! I love the using of bandaids, very creative.
ReplyDeleteBoo had popcorn up her nose once, not a good time. Glad that it fell out!!
-19? Oh my!! I love the band-aid idea though, that's super funny! And I am thanking God I don't live there; I hate the cold. AL isn't looking so bad now, we were in the 60's today.
ReplyDeletethat popcorn story is awesome! I just read it to my husband and told him i can't wait til our kids are older because I am actually looking forward to silly things like that. what will their little minds come up with next?
ReplyDeleteMy boys do way better without the tv too. So much so, that we don't even have tv in this house!
ReplyDeleteLove the band-aid's and popcorn in the ear. I had a bean in my nose tragedy when I was little...still remember the horror. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou got what you asked for. Creativity.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing :)
Ha Ha!! I love it!! Good thinkin' Mom!!
ReplyDeleteAh boys. You gotta love it!!!
ReplyDelete*LOL* They are resourceful.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about kids sticking things in places they don't go. My brother did this with foam in his nose. haha
THAT is why I haven't bought Band-Aids in like 2 years.
ReplyDeleteALWAYS ALWAYS end up on my walls, floors, windows and are never there when there is actually a boo-boo.
LOL... I have to laugh... as the last month here where I am in canada, has been -30F!!!! your -19 must have been unbearably cold.... sigh... canada...
ReplyDeletelove your blog! (and we have been watching A lot of T.V. since Christmas!)
