I'm The Kanga To Her Roo

International Babywearing Week is November 12-18 and I'd love to see you all posting your favorite babywearing photos letting everyone know about it!

If you don't have any pictures to share, then talk about why you love babywearing, share your tips, or gush about your favorite carrier. If you aren't a babywearer yet and plan on babywearing- tell us about it!

Link up your post in the Mr. Linky below and you will be entered to win a Pop Nest Sling or a Sparrow Hatchling Sling from Nonny & Boo!

Here's the guidelines you must follow in order to be eligible to win:

1. Please be sure to include a link back to this post so others can join in.
2. Also link to Nonny & Boo.
3. Enter your post's link in the Mr. Linky below (be sure to link directly to your babywearing post and not just to your blog).

Anyone can enter as long as you've linked up as requested above! You don't have to be a babywearer!

The winners will be chosen at random from the Mr. Linky below sometime after 11:59 pm Monday November 17. Contest has now ended.

See the winners here!

I can't wait to see your great photos & posts! And if you get a moment, be sure to check out everyone in the Mr. Linky and comment to let them know you stopped by.

  2. Thanks for doing this! Excited to read some great posts and see some new ideas for slings! BTW, can you delete my mess up? I thought I had the correct post copied, but it only came over for my blog. I'm sorry!

  4. Ivy really reminds me of Allison in this picture. It is her round little face, I think. Off to find a picture.

  7. oh I miss that part! All my babies where sling babies (back when the only one I could find was a NOJO) and my son was a Moby-wrap baby. I love how far they have come in the past 9 years since I threw out a well-intended front pack that hurt me (even at 21 that thing hurt my back!) and bought a NOJO. The comments "oh, that pooooor baby, she looks so uncomfortable" the strange looks, I even got a few glares! How far we've come!

    LOVE IT!

  15. I just had to comment and say I love the title of this post. What a cute and creative spin-off from "You Are My I Love You" by Maryann Cusimano.

I "wore" my first daughter, but - surprisingly - didn't take many photos with her in her carrier. I think I'll take more when my new little one arrives in March...

  19. I'm so glad you're going to be posting about babywearing this week! I'm due in January, and I'm trying to figure out which type of sling I want to start with. I thought I remembered you saying the ring slings were your favorite all-around sling for newborns. Anyway, can't wait to read this week!

  26. Finally...the perfect reason to post my babywearing slide show that I never got around to finishing last year.

Have you read the "You are my I love you" book mentioned before? It's one of my FAVORITES. Brian read it to my belly throughout my second pregnancy.

Have a great week! I'm excited to find some fun new blogs through this.

It's designed for new moms to share moments with their baby, put a little one to sleep, and to feel good emotionally and physically. It's an instructional DVD/CD with beautiful original music by Lisa Phenix. If you love babywearing you'll love Lullaby Exercises. www.chicks-n-chickens.com
