I'm The Kanga To Her Roo

International Babywearing Week is November 12-18 and I'd love to see you all posting your favorite babywearing photos letting everyone know about it!

If you don't have any pictures to share, then talk about why you love babywearing, share your tips, or gush about your favorite carrier. If you aren't a babywearer yet and plan on babywearing- tell us about it!

Link up your post in the Mr. Linky below and you will be entered to win a Pop Nest Sling or a Sparrow Hatchling Sling from Nonny & Boo!

  7. oh I miss that part! All my babies where sling babies (back when the only one I could find was a NOJO) and my son was a Moby-wrap baby. I love how far they have come in the past 9 years since I threw out a well-intended front pack that hurt me (even at 21 that thing hurt my back!) and bought a NOJO. The comments "oh, that pooooor baby, she looks so uncomfortable" the strange looks, I even got a few glares! How far we've come!

  15. I just had to comment and say I love the title of this post. What a cute and creative spin-off from "You Are My I Love You" by Maryann Cusimano.

    I "wore" my first daughter, but - surprisingly - didn't take many photos with her in her carrier. I think I'll take more when my new little one arrives in March...

  19. I'm so glad you're going to be posting about babywearing this week! I'm due in January, and I'm trying to figure out which type of sling I want to start with. I thought I remembered you saying the ring slings were your favorite all-around sling for newborns. Anyway, can't wait to read this week!

  27. Finally...the perfect reason to post my babywearing slide show that I never got around to finishing last year.

    Have you read the "You are my I love you" book mentioned before? It's one of my FAVORITES. Brian read it to my belly throughout my second pregnancy.

  32. i have worn all five of my babies and the tradition goers on with me wearing the grandbaby when i get to look after her.
    posting the link of her and me makes me almost cry because OMG that was FOUR MONTHS ago when she was just barely a month. OMG, my sweet Hazel Faye is 5 months old now!...sorry, i'm a bit hormonal today.

I really have loved reading your blog- I didn't know that babywearing could be such a lifestyle- my son is 11 mos, and I wear him in my backpack, but next baby, I want to go all out & wear him a lot more & hopefully nurse in a sling or wrap. :) When the time comes, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for you! :) Thanks for the info! :)
