Love is...doing the dishes at 5 am even before reading her post at 5 Minutes For Parenting today.
And
Love is...
letting him do the dishes even though you are awake nursing the baby and hear him, and want so badly to tell him he doesn't have to. But you still let him.
He helps keep my head above water.

"just keep swimming, just keep swimming. . . "
That is love! Marriage is team work and I couldn't have done most things in the last 6 yrs without him! We are so blessed to have wonderfully supportive hubbies!

ReplyDeleteLove is hoping that she'll be surprised when she wakes up, but knowing deep down inside that I'd never be able to surprise her with something like that because she's SuperMom and hears everything that happens in our home, no matter how quiet. And also being glad that she didn't come down to stop me, because I would have had to kick her cute little booty back upstairs to get some rest.
Nothing like the perfect partnership, is there? ; )
ReplyDeleteSteph, I think you need a dishwasher for Christmas, but I am glad you share the responsibility. You are both lucky to have one another.
