When we decided on the name we joked about my (not so funny) hospital stay early in the pregnancy and how I had to have IV fluids for dehydration.
Then my friend Mary Beth reminded me that the roman numeral for four is IV and our fourth child is named Ivy. I love this!
And in case you missed it, listen to us singing her lullaby here.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the roman numeral thing!!! Hadn't thought of that. And that lullaby!
ReplyDeleteI did miss that video! And what a sweet one it was. She has gotten so big. What a lovely little girl and lucky to have three big brothers.
ReplyDeleteGray cracked me up...when you patted the bed and he shook his head. HEE! He is his own man Mama.
And the roman numeral thing is so neat! It was like her name was destined to be Ivy. Which, by the way, I still just love every time I read it or hear it.
