And oh, yeah, loved her shoes.
I might write more about the Mother Warrior thing after I watch the whole episode.
Because I want them.
So, I can't talk about warriors without including a link to this most awesome song.
And I can't talk about shoes without showing you Ivy's shoe collection so far. (I promised.) Just one and a half weeks old and she almost has more than me. Almost.
How cute!?! Where are you getting all these adorable shoes? I better keep my eyes peeled huh?
ReplyDeleteMy heart aches a little when I think back to P being that small once upon a time.
ReplyDeleteToo cute Steph!
So Sweet!!! Love it!
ReplyDeletewow! I don't even have that many pairs of shoes :)
ReplyDeleteThose are some CUTE little girlie shoes!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that is a LOT of shoes!!
ReplyDeleteShe has more pairs than her Mimi! I love how you displayed them for us to see. You are so clever!
ReplyDeleteBuggie is so jealous!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite of Ivy's collection are the green moccasin ones 2nd to the right of the lady bug shoes!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I couldn't stop staring at Jenny's shoes either! I'm so tall as it is, I couldn't wear them around the hubby. He and I are the same, exact height. Wimper, wimper.
oh my goodness! That is too cute! I can't wait to get some shoes for the girls... they have 0 so far. No $ for babyshoes right now... at least they dont' NEED them. OY!
ReplyDeletebrittany
How precious!!!
ReplyDeleteEvery fashionista deserves such a great start in life!
ReplyDeleteOh, my word- too adorable!!! :) I love baby shoes- so much that in college, my now-hubby bought me a pair, because I thought they were cute. And to my disappointment, my 9-month-old has always refused to wear shoes!!! We'll have to work on that this winter, since he'll be WALKING and all. :)
ReplyDeleteMy baby probably has about that many too. My mom keeps buying them for her! Plus we have some left from her big sister too!
ReplyDeleteShoes! I love kids shoes almost more than my own shoes.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great supply of shoes. Hopefully in lots of different sizes.
I meant to comment too that I saw Oprah last night. I just love Jenny...She is such a Warrior! I didn't notice her shoes though, just her adorable hair and face. She reminded me so much of you and how you were determined to get Noah healed. It's great that her son is doing so good.
ReplyDeleteYou are killing me!!! She has more shoes than BOTH my girls combined! :D
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes! Those are a TON of shoes! She is one lucky girl! I'll bet having a girl is really fun. They don't make very many cute shoes for boy babies. And, I've got to say, shoes make the baby. When my son is wearing shoes, he's the cutest baby in the world. Ask anyone. When he's not wearing shoes ... I won't say he's homely but I get a lot less comments about how cute he is. Totally anecdotal evidence, I know, but I have concluded that shoes are the most essential part of a baby's wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteya but how funny that Ivy isn't wearing any shoes in the pic!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! What size do they go up to?
ReplyDeletewow! yea she has way more shoes than me :-) my boys only have 2 pairs each right now.
ReplyDeleteone sandle/croc and tennishoes.
holy smokes she definitely has more shoes then me :) Great picture.
ReplyDeleteShe's her mamma's girl!
ReplyDeleteOh no, she isn't going to grow up to be a girly girl, show diva. LOL
ReplyDeleteHa! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThat picture is too much! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh My!! I saw the pic and I HAD to click over from Bloglines to tell you that THAT picture is SO YOU!
ReplyDeleteWoW!! She has more shoes than me!
ReplyDeleteI hope she gets to wear all those shoes before she grows out of them!
ReplyDeleteI think she has her eyes on the sweety birdy ones
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that your newborn has more than me?
ReplyDeletehands down.
(or should I say foot down)
Oh my goodness Steph, this is the cutest!! I am so proud of you, Ivy is gorgeous! Tell her Cousin Dee can't wait to meet her! I love & miss you so much, give the boys and Jeff my love!
ReplyDeleteTell me her feet will never be big enough to wear these!!!!
ReplyDeleteDUDE she totally has more shoes than I do. WOW.
ReplyDeleteLucky girl!
I love that photo!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great idea! I'll have to remember that for later. :)
ReplyDeleteI am laughing, because I totally bought Ivy a pair of shoes today and have them all packaged up to mail to you tomorrow. And I'm still sending them, because they're stinkin' CUTE.
ReplyDeleteOMG! This is about all I can say
ReplyDeleteSuch cuteness, Ivy is off to a very good start in the shoe department!
ReplyDeleteShe DOES have more than I do!!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHoly Mole! That girl has some shoes! I seriously think she has more shoes than my entire family!
ReplyDeleteJen
It was a really great episode. The mother with no limbs was amazing. Jenny was great, Jim was great
ReplyDeleteJenn
I am SO envious of Ivy's shoe stash! LOL, adorable photo.
ReplyDeleteA girl and her shoes, ahhh....
ReplyDeleteI love it! Glad to see she has a few different sizes - shoes to look forward to, you know!? :-)
ReplyDeleteA girl after my own heart! I just did a post yesterday about shoes for my daughter!
ReplyDeletebest baby picture, ever! i love the slipper socks...
ReplyDeleteOh my word. Love it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! She is adorable! Sorry I haven't gotten over here sooner... had one of my own the Monday before Ivy was born... and aren't they so sweet, and fun, and precious and I've taken a trillion pictures already and we are accumulating pink like it's going out of style.
ReplyDeleteLooks like my baby girls she collection :) She started life with 18 pairs of shoes, now she has about 12 pairs that fit her... not to mention all those she's yet to grow into! My shoes have all been wearing out and I haven't replaced them so she has more than me now... maybe that's what I'll ask for at Christmas - shoes :)
ReplyDeleteLove this pic! And yes, I am a warrior mama, you are, and so many others. I loved Jenny's shoes, loved Jim, great Oprah (the first one of the season I've liked).
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shoe collection! And what a cutie pie, of course!
ReplyDeleteThat is the CUTEST picture EVER!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhenever we have moments like that in our house (new dresses, new shoes, or other estrogen-driven events) I smile at Gregg and say, "It's a girl!"
ReplyDeleteIt's a girl, indeed!
How funny but ohhhh so cute! She is a doll Steph and I know she will be super styling in all those shoes. I tend to go overboard with my girl's shoes as well, but you definitely have me beat hehe :)
ReplyDeletewow lot's of shoes!!!
ReplyDeleteShe has more shoes than I do. Of that I am sure.
ReplyDeleteAnd it doesn't even matter if she doesn't wear them all, because baby shoes are more about looks than function.
Woah, that's quite a collection...lucky baby girl!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Lucky little girl! It won't be long before she has a collection of handbags to match, lol.
ReplyDeleteholy guacamole, she has quite the collection :) love it! what a sweet photo!

ReplyDelete- Audrey
Shoes, shoes and more shoes!
ReplyDeleteHow cute!
Abby only has 1 pair so far and she's 10 months old. Looks like I'm a bit behind!
That is a really cute pic! You'll have to do several more as she grows and make a book out of it or something.
ReplyDeleteHee! Some of them are nearly as big as her. Cute!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of shoes! I didn't even buy shoes for our baby!
ReplyDeleteWHAT!!! WOWW!! I love the shoes! my future baby only has one pair!!
ReplyDeleteWe love Mocossin Socks...esp in the winter! I am so envious! She's going to be stylin'. he..he..
ReplyDeleteOm my gosh, how cute! My daughter is 7-1/2 months old and I think only has 3 pairs of shoes -- we must catch up!
