I Have Updates

Today was a busy day. I received a call this morning from Regal Lager, the makers of Phil&Teds and they were so sorry to hear of my accident. Susan, their representative, was sweet as can be, and said she was sending out a new stroller frame for me right away. And soon after I got off the phone I received an email confirmation that it had already shipped!

Oh, and she said she just had one question. What is up with you and celery?? Ha. And after we got off the phone I needed some right away.

I finished Gray's sweater! Here he is modeling it, complete with robot buttons. I've already started one for the baby, hoping to have it finished before she arrives!

Last night I started having some major contractions every time I stood up. So I did a lot of sitting. Today has been better but I can tell she is moving waaaay down. I went to the store and stocked up, I tell you. Just in case. By the way, did you know that California Pizza Kitchen makes pizzas you can make crispy in the microwave? Yeah. I have a freezer-full now.

Now we wait.

And I also wrote a bit about the waiting today at 5 Minutes For Parenting.

  3. I saw a P& T stroller with the doubles kit at the zoo and nearly swooned, it was so cool. (I want one!!! but can't really justify getting a new stroller at this point.) I'm glad their customer service is so helpful, too.

Love the robot buttons and that sweater color is gorgeous with his eyes...

  10. Yay! Now that's customer service : )

Mom to mom marketing really works. I'm frugal--and I don't need another stroller--but even I found myself checking out Phil and Ted's just to see what all the fuss was about.

  14. I saw your twitter a couple days ago about the contractions and was wondering if Ivy had made her arrival. Thanks for the update. That sweater is adorable. The colors are great and the buttons make it perfect. I'm a huge can of the California pizzas. My absolute fave is the margharita pizza! Yumm. Now I may just need to go pick up a couple for lunch today. Happy Saturday.

  24. What is the deal with you and celery?? ;)
I have been having more and more contractions also recently. However, I know they are not near the real thing, just the baby doing his/her job :)
I have most of everything I need...still need to get a few more snacks, but I have my gatorade and emergen-c, so I am good :)

I am really excited to see which of us goes first. Then we can set up our kiddos...I am pretty sure mine is a boy :)

  26. You are amazing, Steph. That sweater is cute, and great news about the stroller. And I too think of you whenever I eat celery. I just had to have some yesterday, and I know you can relate to that. Today I found out that celery with Trader Joe's chipotle pepper hummus is incredible! God bless my friend who showed up on my doorstep with a bag of Trader Joe's goodies this afternoon.
