I've got a post up at 5 Minutes For Parenting today- I Love You More Than My Sunglasses.
It's not pretty, but it's real.
I also have a post up at Chicago Moms Blog that is pretty and real. You can see another one of my favorite pictures from my photo shoot there.
I'm enjoying my time away, but there will be no leaving my heart in San Francisco. I left it at home with my four boys and I can't wait to have them all in my arms again.
That "5 Minutes" post is adorable! Have fun! You'll be back with your boys before you know it. :)
ReplyDeleteI really loved this post.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, the 5 Minutes post -- BEEN THERE! I know Matt appreciates it when I fess up and admit when I overreact.

Great post!
ReplyDeleteI needed to read that sunglasses post today. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post! I used to travel pretty frequently and can relate to your desire to get back to the men in your life!!
ReplyDeleteAww, Steph! I think we can all relate to overacting *just a bit* at times. I'm sure Carter won't even remember the lunch take-back when he gets older. All the wonderful, loving things you do will be the things all your boys (and girl!) remember and cherish. :-)

Definitely real, and I know we have ALL been there before!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're having a good time! Enjoy it, and I'm sure you'll be back with your boys before you know it.
That is too sweet. I bet they miss you too. Going to go read your other posts now!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet, Your right though ....our kids can be giddy and anxious and just push all of our buttons but we must show them love and forgiveness (sometimes a bit of chastising helps) and THEN they will know that is how THEY should treat others. That whole lead by example thing we've always heard. HA!
ReplyDeleteEven though we know that we're mad...those faces and those eys just reflect in our hearts! CRUMB SNATCHERS! lol
Thank you SO much for this. . .I read it the other day but it SO came in handy today when my toddler threw his Stride Rites out of the stroller while I was out and about and we could only track down one of them. . .helped me not lose it!
